How it works:
  • Choose a relevant category for your idea and check to see if any other users have already submitted this suggestion before creating your own
  • Be clear with your suggestion, provide examples and solutions to the problem you are posing. Suggestions without actionable feedback may be closed without comment
  • Upvote existing ideas, as opposed to creating multiple similar requests
  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.
  • Titles that are unclear or unnecessarily vulgar may be reworded to better reflect the request for ease of discovery

    Merci !

  3. Twitch chat needs more options to ignore other users that aren't outright blocking. Sometimes a person may want to temporarily ignore another person in chat without having to remember to unblock them later. Giving the option to mute someone for 24 hours allows this.

  4. If you guys do incorporate this idea, can you guys create a new badge like 'glhf' badge or Twitch prime badge specifically for people who have requested a feature that has been implemented into the Twitch system so we can get recognition and have proof to tell friends and show chat. I think that by making these badges, it would encourage more people to request for new features that could improve Twitch quality and the community as a whole. We could call it the 'Uservoice' badge or something along those lines and the badge icon could be a cute little…

  5. You can like\dislike comments in live twitch chat and place most popular\unpopular comments at the top\btm.

    Make it interactive.

It would help broadcaster\users to read most interesting comments.

  7. if you are in chat, and you want to contact a mod regarding certain question/need help regaarding something, then by using @mods will message all the present mods the same way as you message them personally by their twitch names. This will ensure easier way for mods to notice if chat require their assistance, or for a viewer to reach a mod.

  8. I want a menu where I can manage all my emotes. There's too many emotes, it's cluttered UI, so overall it's just a very non-friendly. It doesn't drive healthy engagement.

So to build out this feature, lets start from the top.

The following is a proposed shelf order:
    *The most frequently used shelf.
    *Then custom shelves.
    *Active channel's shelf.
    *Your channel's shelf.
    *Then channel-specific shelves.
*Then reward shelves. (StreamWithPride, HyperScapeEmotes, etc)
    *Then the global shelf.

This is similar to the current default, but added in custom shelves and prioritizing the active channel's shelf, then your channel's shelf. If a user…

  9. One of the biggest problems I have with coordination in twitch seems to be the confusion over time zones. Saying "my next stream will be sunday at 2:30 pm CDT" leaves everyone in chat to figure out when that is relative to their time. What would be nice is something Discord has and uses, which is filtered UNIX timecodes, so for instance if I say <t: 1728388800 > then for someone in GMT it would show Tue Oct 8, 2024 12:00:00, for someone in Central it would show Tue Oct 08, 2024 07:00:00, and using other codes to further format…

  10. I accidentally banned a normal chatter when banning a bot that was above them in chat and despite me unbanning them, they still got consequences from it (like getting a suspicious user warning on them in other channel's chats or any other things I may not be aware).

I'd love if there was an unban that wasn't a "second chance" to a user but a complete clear of a potential human error from a streamer which gave no consequences to the victim of the accidental ban!

  11. Add a free Tier 1 subscription (the same as Prime Gaming) to a favourite channel, as paying €11.99 to support a channel at all can be an incentive to subscribe to Twitch Turbo.

  12. Objective: Introduce a native, fully interactive, customizable full-screen chat overlay to enhance the Twitch user experience.

Current Issue: Third-party extensions for full-screen chat are not universally adopted, which leads streamers to embed chat in their broadcasts, detracting from the full-screen content experience.

    Proposed Feature:

A native, interactive full-screen chat overlay, adjustable for transparency and screen positioning.
The ability for viewers to toggle the chat overlay on/off based on personal viewing preferences.

    Key Advantages:

Delivers a seamless full-screen experience with interactive chat, a core part of Twitch's live-streaming.
Unifies the viewer experience across all streams, ensuring everyone can use the chat…

  13. When you raid another channel, viewers have the option to leave the raid. Sometimes they never have the option to raid out and are left behind, or maybe saw the channel was live in a directory and joined to an offline channel with no idea where they raided. The burden is left on the streamer or moderators to ensure the channel is linked in chat to notify anyone who missed out.

My request is to add UI that shows the channel that was recently, successfully raided to along with a clickable link. It can look like one of the existing…

  14. Community Invites💡 : Interaktion steigern auf Twitch!

    Hallo liebe Twitch-Community,

  15. I suggest to create a setting for pinned messages to get unpinned if the categorie changes.

Often pinned messages are only relevant while the stream is in a specific categorie.
A setting to account for that and make it possible would make moderating easier. This would be a great feature especially in big streams on channels which sometimes change their categories.

  16. When I block someone, either a streamer or a chatter. I don't want to see them anymore. I don't want to see them on my recommended channels list. I don't want to see them on the category I view at all. I don't want to see them in chat. I don't want to see any communication from them.

Make the blocking feature actually work please.

Arial and the current font sizes are not accessible/work for everyone.

  18. wenn in theatre mode with the chat under the video, the leaderboard blocks 1/3rd of the chat window (atleast on my screens)

please let us disable the leader board in the chat setting so we can se more of the chat

side note the "stream chat" bar that seperates chat from the video is way thicker than it needs to be blocking another 1-2/10th of the possible chat window

  19. The Idea is being able to send a message through the use of the microphone without having to type on their PC or Phone keyboard. This will help any viewer who is cooking, driving, or doing anything to prevent them from being able to send a message in chat using their keyboard. Having a built in Virtual Assistant (VA) like Siri or something similar would be a brilliant implementation for Twitch. This idea is a bit more extreme, but it in the near future would expand the possibilities for Twitch. You can say something like, "Hey Siri (or whatever Twitch…

  20. Observed Behaviour:
    Given chat is enabled,
and given the browser window is less than 920 pixels wide,
and given the browser window is more than 786 pixels high,
when a user enables theatre mode,
then chat is shown below the stream,
and then there is no button to hide chat.

    Expected Behaviour:
Given there is enough space vertically (currently 170px in addition to the stream player),
then there is a button to show/hide chat.
