  1. Live Chat translation. I understand there is a variety of languages out there that people speak and only certain channels will allow x amount of languages due to chat moderation and such. But it would be a cool feature for mods to be able to use or for chat users/streamers to be able to interact with the community more! Instead of just saying we don’t allow that language or so the user doesn’t have to translate it using a 3rd party app. Ik there is extensions you can use but would be nice feature for twitch to have. Amazon did…

  2. Hello,

My suggestion involves a small rework of the current broadcast time (stream uptime). I think it would be nice to separate it by category and then display the total uptime, for example:

[Game Icon] 1:30:00 [Game Icon] 1:00:00 [Total] 2:30:00

It doesn't necessarily have to be shown directly on the stream interface; it could be displayed as a tooltip on mouse hover or when clicked. This way, viewers could see how much time the streamer has been playing or doing activities in a specific category.

I have created an example image for reference (tooltip on mouse hover)

  3. I know Twitch says the feature seemed to cause a decrease in viewership during their testing, but there are so many other factors that can affect that and many streamers who got to try out the chant feature really enjoyed it. I think it’d be better to make it an optional feature rather than remove it entirely, and let people decide on their own if it works for their channel.

  4. Implement hiding of channel emotes in emote selector and/or ability to reorder them. We are subbed/gift subbed to many channels and bloating the emote selector. This allows users to hide unused channels or reorder them to reduce time it takes looking for emotes and improving chat experience by not missing a moment to respond due to looking for emotes.

  5. TLDR; Twitch members would really benefit from users having an option to add phonetic spelling to their profile.

Whenever someone comes into chat, I like to ask how their name is pronounced. This often means that new followers’ first message is how their name is pronounced, or lurking users may be pulled out of their lurk to explain how it is pronounced. For some, requests like this may even be microaggressive.

A solution to this would be an opt-in feature for phonetic spelling, where the phonetic spelling of the username is available on their page and when hovering over their…

  6. I would appreciate a very helpful feature for a lot of streams.

    Feature/Requirements:

    1) Make verifications and a verified status available for every user
    2) Mark verified users with a badge on the profile page
    3) Mark verified users with a badge in the chat
    4) Implement a /verifiedonly chat mode
    5) Link multiple accounts to the same verification

    Pros:

With the above mentioned features Twitch would become a safer and nicer place for everyone.
With the option for users to verify their accounts with their ID card, driver's license, or Amazon account and a chat mode for verified users…

  8. What I would like to see is having the option under the section known as "Featured Clips we think you'll like (which I don't), & from smaller communities: The option is to be able to select the ability to say "not interested" in said clip from either one; My reasons is that on every occasion I've seen from the thumbnail it's clips I have absolutely no interest in watching what so ever. Either because their clips from games, chats, speed runs / challenges on said game I have no interest in.

  10. I find it frustrating that as a chatter that you need to click on the "React" to place what I think of the moment happening. The streamer should be allowed to tie them to different emotes or with a word chant (mainly for BTTV, FrankerZ or any 3rd Party Emotes), either global or the streamer's own emotes.

This will help the streamer to get more analytics which parts the chat likes and it's less of a hassel for the audience.

  11. I would like the chat history to remain when watching Twitch on mobile (iOS Android).

A new feature was recently implemented that allows users to keep a chat history when watching from a PC, and I would like to see the same feature implemented for mobile (iOS Android) viewing!

    https://twitter.com/TwitchSupport/status/1622659366531866645
I would like a mobile version of this feature

  12. The current way isn't perfect and could do with a revamp.

I believe this should be changed to the amount of time followed in total instead of showing the date the user followed.

This will solve the problems with users accidentally unfollowing their favourite channels and then having to completely restart their followage.

It could work a bit like the subs. Where it shows the amount of time you're actively subscribed. And when you stop subscribing it shows how long you've been previously subscribed for.

For Example It could say 'Following For (active follow time)' when the user is following…

  13. Lately I noticed how bad the current way to block links is, so I would like to present this alternative:
→ If link blocking is on, instead of showing "***", show "<Link Withheld>" and provide a prompt for the moderation (similar to automod's prompts) where the link is shown alongside the domain Notoriety level and the options "block" and "allow" and a checkbox for "never ask again for this domain".
→ If Allowed, the Notoriety of the domain is lowered and "<Link Withheld>" gets replaced by the link proper.
→ If blocked, the Notoriety of the domain is raised and…

  15. The way restricting users are as they are informs the restricted user they're being restricted. If the idea is to prevent them from making another account to get around it it's probably best not to immediately tell them that they're being restricted in the first place. It would be so much handier to have someone's messages be privately seen only by the moderators before they can deduce whether someone is a repeat offender or not and lift said restriction when they come to a conclusion. Sort of like a shadow mute feature of sorts. I bring this up as someone…

  17. Usually in the stream description you can see a plenty of commands like !rules !sabathon !youtube !gift !drops !tg !etc
The idea is to give streamers the feature there they will register such commands with its brief description.
And when chat user starts message with "!" symbol, a suggestions will appear.
Similar to mods commands starting with "/".

  18. Sería idea poder tener la opción de crear listas con saltos de línea dentro del chat para algunos comandos del canal, de tipo.

    • Texto 1
    • Texto 2
    • Texto 3

Hasta el momento no he encontrado nada similar a eso.

  19. Much how moderators can use /announce to broadcast a message, moderators should have the ability to send a message in chat that is only visible to other mods and the broadcaster.

Implementing this would limit having to alt-tab over to Discord to speak in a separate private channel and only engage with other active mods in chat which helps for context when discussing issues.

  20. Please allow us to pin emotes or a creator (or ourselves) to the top of the emote selector. I sub to a bunch of channels and sometimes I have to search a while to find my own emotes.
