Creating Stronger Feedback Loops in Evolving Digital Spaces In shaping responsive platforms, clarity of intent and values matters, https://pearllemonconsulting.ca/about-us/ offers a similar ethos of transparency and collaboration that reflects well in Twitch’s approach. Twitch UserVoice isn't just a forum, it's a structured feedback hub where users can contribute meaningfully to the platform’s evolution. The seamless interaction between Twitch and its community is designed with the user at its center.
From UI changes to creator tools, the UserVoice forums cover a range of categories, all structured to drive purposeful conversations. Ideas aren't lost in clutter; they’re organized, upvoted, and often addressed by Twitch itself. That active response creates a…

Improve Clip Timing Precision Please improve the precision of clip start and end times by making the timeline zoomable down to the frame level. This would enable much more accurate edits.

Tha ability for the viewers to react to each others chat-messages with emojis! If someone writes something react-worthy, but not necessarily requiring a written response, there should be a way to acknowledge the message by simple emojis: laugh, cry, angry, embarassed etc by just hovering the pointer over the message and clicking the appropriate emoji.
I dont need no cred for this, just do ur thing devs

Categories I watch a lot of esports. I'd like to categorize players by their teams for easy access to scrims or content. Similar to an email folder, you have customizable tabs that you can add those you follow for quick access to what you'd like to watch.

search chat history In mod view it is quite convenient to have the chat history available to scroll back and see what a user has posted, however what would make it even more useful is for there to be a search or filter button to be able to look for chat messages from that user with certain keyword(s).

Feature to "like" a stream Viewers could like or "thumbs up" a stream, like any post on social media. It would be great especially for lurkers who don't want to or can't chat, to still show support to the streamer.
Likes could be a single like per viewer per stream and they could be shown privately or publicly. You could also add an alert for likes just like for new followers etc.
I think this would be exciting especially for new and small streamers. I know reactions were a thing at some point, but I don't know if likes have been a feature before.

BADGE EVENT "STREAM FOR HUMANITY" Hello Twitch,
An event called "STREAM FOR HUMANITY" took place on Twitch over a weekend. So I was wondering if it was possible to create a badge for this event like for Zevent 2024. Awaiting response.
Good evening to you!

Channel Follower Shared Banned List As a follower or subscriber of a channel that is moderated very well I would like to also be able to share that channels banned account list that I can take forward with me. Twitch chat can have some very toxic activity at times and when a channel moderates that activity very well I would also like to not see those accounts interaction in any other channel that I watch as well where there are large collaboration events.

Add a Dedicated Health & Wellness Category on Twitch As health and wellness topics continue to grow in popularity on Twitch, the platform would benefit significantly from a dedicated "Health & Wellness" category. This addition would provide a central hub for streams focused on mental health, fitness, nutrition, medical education, and overall well-being, making it easier for viewers to find and engage with content that aligns with their interests and needs.
Currently, health-focused streams are scattered across various categories, which limits visibility and discoverability. A dedicated category would allow creators specializing in health and wellness to reach their target audience more effectively, fostering growth within this increasingly relevant niche.

Voice clips to streamer For perspective, I don't really stream alot but I enjoy watching others stream. I am not much of a chat person. Can we develop some means to have viewers pay x$ to be able to leave a live voice chat message that can be played on stream. (like old phone in radio stations without all the extra external) Could transcribe it for mod filtering to be able to hard stop it / even pre-filter the transcribe for known bad language patterns and warn before approving type system. Transcribe as an option for the streamer etc? I don't see any platform…

Enhanced Revenue Tab for Streamers’ Financial Management The current "Revenue" tab on Twitch is essential for streamers to monitor their earnings, but its functionality can be significantly improved to better serve creators who rely on Twitch as a source of income. I propose enhancing the tab with advanced tools for financial management and transparency. This includes detailed analytics that break down income sources like ads, subscriptions, and bits, alongside visual graphs that help streamers track earnings trends over daily, weekly, or custom date ranges. A new income forecasting feature can predict potential earnings based on historical data, helping streamers make informed decisions about content and streaming schedules.…

Chat Jail A special chat instance where banned and timed-out users get sent so they can all troll each other to death. Ideally, they wouldn't be able to tell immediately when they got sent there. The chat they got banned or timed out from would just stop; then, when they try to send another message there, they start seeing replies from "chat jail".
Also, if a user gets sent to chat jail from too many channels, chat jail gets displayed for them on every channel all the time.

Making chat more legible (especially when it's moving) The main idea is to make it easier to visually separate one chat message from the ones next to it.
A few options:
Different background colors for messages (alternating between white and light gray for Light Mode; alternating between black and dark gray for Dark Mode)
Smoother movement when a new message comes in (instead of instantly jumping by however many lines the new message takes up)
Thin lines between (or around) chat messages. Bubbles around messages would make messages very easy to differentiate, but they also take up more space.

remove Non-Moderator Chat Delay setting or at least the 6 second option.
Terrible viewer experience...
There's no delay on mobile anyway and many streamers using it have chat on screen2 votes -
Provide a way to view chat rules in mod view In normal view, in chat, when you are a moderator, clicking Chat Settings, then Switch to Non-Mod Settings, gives a menu that includes the View Chat Rules option.
In mod view, I cannot find the option anywhere. In chat, the Chat Settings button is not there, and clicking the Chat [...] menu, then See Non-Mod Settings, gives a menu that does not include the View Chat Rules option.
I suggest adding the link there too. It is useful when addressing rules violations to be able to easily refer to what exactly the chat rules say.

Vibe Check - A Tool for Creating Inclusive and Engaging Twitch Chats THE PROBLEM
New viewers often struggle to integrate into Twitch chats, especially when they’re unsure about the community’s vibe or the streamer’s preferences. This can result in awkward, off-topic messages that get ignored, leading to disengagement. Streamers face the challenge of helping new viewers feel welcome while keeping the chat engaging for regular participants.
PROPOSED SOLUTION: VIBE CHECK
What Is Vibe Check?
Vibe Check is an integrated set of chat guides designed to help new viewers engage with ongoing Twitch chat discussions in a natural and relevant way. It uses context-sensitive prompts that guide new users when their messages don’t…

Allow streamers to choose not to allow people to watch their stream not logged in. I feel like it would be appropriate if a streamer could choose to not allow their content to be watched by someone not signed in. I know the person cant chat not logged in but it opens up the way for stalkers to still consume the content and just be freaking creepy.
