Show _something_ even if I already follow the channel Since the shoutout box also shows a snippet of schedule information.
The shoutout box at the top of chat should be displayed to all users regardless of if they follow the streamer or not.

Improve /shoutout Upgrade the /shoutout command to have a browser source overlay that plays clips. Broadcaster can limit how long the clips will be played and the creator of the clips can toggle a "Clip Available for Shout Out" option for each clip that way us smaller streamers who enjoy video shout outs can still do them and the other creators can choose what clips appear.
If a creator has no clips designated for Shout Outs, then their profile picture will appear with their name.

/Emote command When you click an emote on the chat it shows you information about that emote, if it is a global emote or what channel is that emote from. And when you click an username in the chat it shows information about that user, like when you write /user <username>.
So if we have a command that makes the same that when you click the username. It would be nice to have a command that makes the same that when you click an Emote, that way if you know the code of that emote but you don't have it, you don't…1 vote -

Prevent Shoutout Misuse & SPAM Similar to RAIDs there should be a section in the Creator Dashboard that allows granular access to control Shoutouts & what gets shown where (ie Chat message vs Activity Feed message vs both).
Currently with the new rollout you are able to;
1) Shoutout the same person every minute or so which causes their Activity Feed to be SPAMmed with notifications (usually of different view count numbers)
2) It is possible to Shoutout the same channel at the same time by multiple accounts which can lead to Bot controlled Hate Shoutouts
3) Resulting Mass Follows to an unsuspecting channel could…1 vote -
@name not working Why is the @name (if you start typing a name then hit tab it does not autocomplete the name anymore or show a list of names)? Having to typeout the name for @name or !so @name seems to revert back to the old days. Did you delete the coding on accident? As a mod for a few channels that is quite annoying. Can we fix this please?

Slash Command A lot of bots are used to create and use commands. Moreover twitch have a command system (with /, for example /mods /vips, etc) and use of commands spam chats.
So the idea is to allow developers to access those slash commands, by adding an command via twitch API (as Discord did).
It should prevent spam on chat.5 votes -
/rules command As rules appear only once and not a lot of people really reads them in reality it would be a good idea to implement /rules command that would show the rules popup.

sos command Streamers with a stream deck have the ability to create a panic button that will do a slew of things. Turning on sub mode, slowing chat, clearing chat, setting a stream marker, capturing a clip for documentation.
What if an sos command was created to do that for streamers that don't have the ability to have a stream deck?
Currently the answer is to end stream until the hate raid ends. But what isn't being realized is that the streamer ending the stream is giving the hate raiders exactly what they want. With a command that controls tools twitch has…

A shoutout special feature on chat Add a special feature to mods/streamer on chat where you can shoutout a channel, and it will show on top of the chat, like the HypeTrain, giving some emphasis to this channel to be followed when this /shoutout command is used. This will give more opportunity to grow and be noticed to small streamers, when they are shoutout by medium and large streamers. An animated UI with Channel Name, channel profile picture, last game played and a follow buttom will help a lot.
9 votesHey there,
We are planning to launch the /shoutout feature this September and are welcoming feedback here: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310201/suggestions/45624622. We're excited to hear your thoughts and feedback! Thank you for your suggestion.

Report Chat Command By using chat commands, a streamer or mod can ban and block a user, which is good if there is a need to remove someone from the chat, but I believe there should be an option to report a user in a similar fashion, for example:
/report [user] [reason]
With many bans and blocks relating to bots and the recent rise in IP grabbing/unaccessible bot channels, I believe there should be an alternate way to report the user.

Suggest Existing Commands I know many Streamers have Nightbot or other similar services connected to their Stream Chat, but most new users don't know all the possible commands they could use.
One existing solution is that users can type "!commands", but then they are just linked to an external website to see all available commands.
I propose a better solution where once the user types the "!" character, they are given suggestions with commands already existing in the Nightbot.
For example, in TeePee's channel, if you type "!", you should be given suggestions for "!sens", "!triggers", "!loadout", etc, similar to the auto-complete feature…

/spoiler command Users sending a spoiler could use this command to show it only to the people that really wants to see it. When using /spoiler followed by a message the chat will instead display a "Spoiler" button which when clicked will show the message.
Examples:
/spoiler The cake is a lie!
/spoiler The girl dies at the end of the game!
/spoiler The princess is not on this castle!
