Global AI AutoMod does not understand context Right now making mature jokes in chat can get chatters permanently suspended globally on Twitch completely without any human intervention that requires context.
Clarification:
This is not about regular AutoMod but the HIDDEN global AI AutoMod present in all of Twitch channels. The AI based AutoMod Twitch currently uses everywhere does not understand important contexts and takes all text at face value. Streamers who have a strong focus on the LGBTQ community find themselves having to tell their chatters not to express themselves freely, because what they joke about can be seen as hate speech even though they are strong…

Add "banned users cannot watch the stream" to shield mode The new "banned users cannot watch the stream" might be worth adding to the shield mode system.
So you throw shield mode on and then banned users auto enables if enabled in the shield mode configuration

Add The Ability for Mods to Send Whispers to All Followers Currently, users can block whispers from strangers (which most seem to have enabled), where strangers are not "someone you follow, someone you subscribe to, one of your mods, or one of your editors".
It would be helpful if mods for "someone you follow or someone you subscribe to" were also included in this list but only be applicable if mods utilize the Quick Whisper button within Mod View. Limiting it to only when the Quick Whisper button is used would keep it from being abused outside of the stream.
This will allow mods to send warnings to users without calling…

Give moderators a toggle to translate messages in foreign languages, particularly first time messages Inspired by a real life incident today having to ban a person for calling the streamer a 'dirty wh**e' in French, moderators having to do the extra leg work to translate languages they don't speak on a third party website to curb abuse could be massively simplified by having an option baked into the system to detect language and offer a translation as required would make for an excellent tool to keep our communities safer.

Shared Ban Info - Shared Comments The New Shared Ban Info feature should have a section to show the reasoning of the ban in a channel so the mods know exactly why the user is suspicious. It makes it difficult for us mods to know why the user is banned if the reason is only being shown in the chat they were banned in and not the suspicious user box in our chat.

Allowing the editor to delete the moderators messages Allowing the editor to delete the moderators messages
because some moderators may make a mistake by placing a wrong link, mistakenly suspect it, or make a mistake in anything, so the editor can delete the message.

Moving the ban and delete buttons Swap the place of the timeout and ban buttons to move ban away from the “delete message” button especially on the mobile mod view menu. To prevent incidental bans on users when trying to delete messages, and leaving a permanent stain on a users profile.

Shared ban list auto-ban Shared ban lists should have the option of auto-banning people on the list (instead of just monitoring or restricting them). Most likely this would have to be paired with some way of categorizing and collaborating on your ban list so you could just share a "worst of the worst" ban list with another streamer and anyone either of you adds there would be auto-banned from both your channels. This could help streamers who have shared values and a close relationship avoid problematic streamers.

/followsoff Give moderators the ability to temporarily suspend the ability for new viewers/chatters to follow the stream. This would be a useful feature for when followbots and/or hate raids attack a channel, the mods could put /followsoff (or similar) in chat to make the follow button unavailable for that stream. This would prevent mass followbots, prevent hate raiders from following, and prevent the painful process of streamers having to break away from their content and deal with turning off alerts and other mitigation measures. The mods could then use /followson (or similar) to reactivate follows. (There could be a "default" where…

Permitted Term Have an option to permit a message that is flagged by auto mod instead of adding it as a permitted term.
This is because sometimes a term is relevant to a topic of discussion but can quickly be used in an inappropriate or hateful manner.5 votes -
Require logging in to view a stream So in practice this idea seems simple and would be effective. The basic premise of this would be that the Streamer can toggle on/off a feature that would require someone to have a twitch account and be following to view the content otherwise it would just be a black screen that says "Please login and follow to view the following content". I think this could help prevent harassment on various levels as I will describe.

Bann multiple accounts with same IP I think twitch has to improve the way new accounts are created. Recently in a chat I moderate there was a guy creating accounts with the username composed with the streamer's name followed by an insult and despite being banned every single time, he keep creating new accounts every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous that twitch account creation system doesn't prevent that behavior from happening.
Also, after reporting every account one by one, they only removed one of them (the third one), and not the original account nor de subsequent accounts.2 votes -
Super Mod Status Would be nice if we could assign a "super mod" of sorts, so they can do extra things, like un-mod other mods? Not every streamer has the time to sort out grievances in their communities, especially in the mod team, so a "super mod" would be nice to have so they can get rid of toxic people from the team, without having to burden the busy streamer.

Link release through moderator That there is a setting where the moderators have to approve all links that are posted before it is sent. This could also be integrated into the defense mode and only activated when this is activated (as a setting like the rest in the mode).

Viewbotting/Followbotting Moderators or streamers have a "report" button that notifies twitch staff of a viewbot or followbot attack and it can ping a staff member to come and watch the channel to see the attack in action so that the attacker cannot report the channel for viewbotting/following.

Shared Ban - Restricted mode Restricted mode should NOT inform the chatter that their messages are not being delivered to the rest of chat. I feel like this is motive to encourage someone to act out even more... I feel like someone being restricted should not know they are being restricted. Feels VERY unsafe.
Sure, a ban may be the viable option, but there can be a lot of nuance to the relationships between fellow streamers and their communities... where nothing ban worthy has necessarily occurred but you might want to prevent an incident in the case something does.
I personally switched to monitoring mode…
