Accidental Ban / Check for users with certain roles
I was horrified this week when a long term viewer was accidentally banned because a mod had a faulty mouse. Luckily it was picked up on VERY quickly and the user unbanned however it means they are now on banned lists, lose certain streaks and had a negative experience that could have been avoided.
I do however understand the need to ban users quickly.
As a work around, could there be a 'check' when banning users that meet certain criteria based on either their channel role or follow age to prevent accidental bans?
Better yet, having a settings page where the above can be personalised and customised to the streamer and communities preferences would be IDEAL.

When I used to mod, I have accidentally timed out and banned users because of how easy it is to click those Mod Actions. I don't like them hidden all the time, because having to do multiple clicks to ban one user is time consuming, but it does make accidental bans very easy to occur. I think that tinysharkplays' suggestion is a perfect solution to that middle ground, where we see an "Are you sure you want to ban [username]?" confirmation screen. I imagine the settings page for this looking very similar to our Moderation settings where we have multiple check boxes to set requirements that viewers would have to meet to have the ban confirmation screen enabled.

This has happened to me and my mods on multiple occasions as well! Always took it as a "well this was my fault" thing so never thought to come up with solutions, but some added protections would be *very* nice to have.
