  • Be sure to share your suggestion with others to gain more support!
  • Note: Suggestions are not guarantees that we will take action on an idea. We will try our best to communicate why an idea may not work, but may not always be able to share that information.

  1. I'm a Turbo user and follow hundreds of streamers. Currently, in the Web UI, in the left nav bar, under "Followed Channels" the default number of online streamers that appears 12 for me. I often have 30+ streamers currently online. This means every time I open Twitch I have to click "Show More" ever single time to see who is online. Please allow me to see all my online Followed Channels without having to click "Show more"every time. I might suggest adding a user UI option to allow me to customize the number of Followed Channels shown by default (e.g.,…

  2. I follow a lot of channels but there’s only 2 streamers I enjoy enough to never want to miss a stream. The rest are people who happen to be apart of the same gta server as my favorite streamers. So it’s super annoying to have to go change the settings for every single new creator I follow so I don’t get bombarded with notifications that I care nothing about. Instead of having live notifications turned on and stories set to sometimes by default, please switch them both to off so that we only have to trouble ourselves if we think…

  3. There is a flag in the upper right corner of games showing that it is new or had a major update. So far I have not been able to find a way to show just these games. Recently none of the streamers that I follow were online, so I was looking for a new game to watch or smaller indie game. To find them I had to scroll through the entire list of games. There has to be an easier way to discover these games.

  4. Social media badges given for sharing streamer content on other platforms. Users end up just using your content to get views on youtube etc and the "#" that shows its your content and not theirs doesn't bring new followers or fans. Yes, you can disable the feature altogether, but that disallows any share! Can twitch require a direct link to twitch channel when streamer's content is used to get the person sharing (not content creator) views on other platforms?

  6. In the Uservoice clear up categories for features that don't exist anymore
    - Gust Star (Name it Stream Together)
    - Watch Parties (don't exist anymore)
    - Teams (basically don't exist anymore)
    - etc

A cleaned up & consolidated category system will help more users to properly put feedback and suggestion in their proper categories especially since most suggestions of new idea cover multiple categories (Dashboard, User Exp, Safety, Legal, etc etc)

  7. when there are many streamers live and with this much recommendation stuff in the sidebar, it creates a scrollbar on "normal" 1080p screen size. looks disgusting.

xtra note: don't try to shoehorn more "recommended" or popular stuff in the ui. i look around myself when i want to see other content. thx. ;)

also... a general feedback link for those kinda ui beta issues would be helpful.

  8. There are several streamers I never want to see recommended on "Live Channels" or "*** Viewers also watch" - several of them end up streaming things like 'slots' or I simply unfollowed them so I never had to see them again due to something they've done.

I'd love the ability to permanently hide them from all views I have on the app. Even seeing their name pop up triggers me.

The top half of the "Live Channels" category is permanently filled with recommended channels, making it very difficult to browse on the PC web version in landscape mode.
Please add a hide setting or make it disappear when you scroll. It's not usable properly.

  11. i love the knock button for when you plan to use the stream together feature but feel knock button not needed on a friends all the time. my thought would be to an option to hide it for x amount of time or select to have it be with the stream settings instead of being on page 24/7

  12. Twitch needs to do something about people who decide to abuse the report button for fraud. This is the THIRD TIME Mythos Divinos has been banned from twitch for fraud. How about looking into who is reporting the fraud and see whether if they're abusing the system to stalk and harass these wonderful vtubers instead of banning them yet again and wasting my money.

  14. It would greatly improve the user experience if followed channels were grouped by category. For example, all live "Overwatch 2" streamers that a user follows could be grouped together, making it easier to find specific content. Currently, users have to scroll through a long list to locate live streams of interest, which can be frustrating. Adding a category-based sorting option for followed channels would enhance accessibility and streamline navigation. Additionally, allowing users to customize or prioritize categories based on their preferences would further improve usability.

  15. On the page where you've clicked in to seeing all streams for a particular game, like: https://www.twitch.tv/directory/category/balatro there are some filters the viewer can set, like what language you'd like to see streams in (this can be set by streamers) and tags.

The only filter that I personally have set, is Language - English because I'm not well-versed in other languages yet.

However, the followed games page (https://www.twitch.tv/directory/following/games) doesn't respect these settings, so I regularly see that there a number of games I've followed on this page, but when I go to the game page, the streamer list…

  17. Could you divide out the IRL Category/Directory? There's so many streamers and viewers. It would be great to somehow have that category broken-up. i.e: 'Travel and exploring', 'Outdoors/gardening', 'Personal Vlogging', and I'm sure there's a lot more possibilities that I'm not thinking of at the moment. I think this would help users find new things they may want to watch.

  18. Please, for the love of all that is holy, add a user side function to mute TTS. It's annoying as **** to try to watch a streamer or game that you like and have to put up with hearing insane spammy TTS. Just a simple button to mute and unmute TTS, on the user side. Simple solution to a huge, huge problem.

  19. We should be allowed to see every directory/game category we've followed on desktop, regardless of whether the associated games are online or off. I've been on Twitch since 2011, so this would be a big help.

On mobile, we're able to see our followed categories if we scroll below live channels towards the bottom.

Having this on desktop would let us see if we're towards the max follow limit, so we can unfollow in order to add more.

I do not like having to go on my phone to unfollow directories, since desktop doesn't show everything I have like the…

  20. Being a part of raids should be OPT-IN. Forcing a user to click "leave" when raiding leads to a worse UX for many. It also skews your internal metrics because users are just being bounced from channel to channel. Many folks have been complaining about this for years:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/lppwu4/is_there_a_way_to_automatically_leave_a_raid_when/

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/gqqqxj/is_it_possible_to_disable_being_apart_of_a_raid/

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Twitch/comments/8dalo2/is_it_possible_to_not_join_raids/

It makes little sense for these things to be opt-out anyways. Creators should want active viewers, not zombie viewers that aren't there.
