Misapplied “Gambling” Content Classification on Educational Poker Streams
My channel streams Poker Tournaments as a skill-based and educational activity, focusing on bankroll management, strategy, and responsible play. I always include clear disclaimers such as “NO to Gambling – this channel does not promote gambling websites or betting in any form.”
Despite this, my channel is constantly flagged with the “Gambling” classification due to false reports from haters. This is unfair and harmful because:
The forced “Gambling” label makes my streams unavailable in Italy and some EU countries, blocking my entire community.
It misrepresents my content, which is educational and entertainment-based, not gambling promotion.
Other Poker Tournament channels continue streaming without restrictions, while my project — which grew quickly in just 14 days — is penalized daily.
Request:
Please review how content classification is applied when malicious reports are made.
Allow a manual review process for cases like mine, where the content is clearly not gambling.
Ensure that educational, skill-based poker streams are not unfairly blocked by misclassification.
This situation has interrupted a positive and responsible project, and I ask for Twitch’s support in protecting educational content creators.
Thank you for your attention,
