I could understand if this was just on max moderation... and cisgender and yuri and yaoi were also censored.

If this is indeed true, it is an abhorrent change. These are not slurs, or disgusting words. They are mere descriptors. Having them be censored/automodded speaks to an ideology that is very hard to support. This should be reversed immediately.

Do the right thing and leave us be. Your efforts to silence our voices will do nothing but create needless pain and opposition for both groups.

We exist. These words aren't offensive. Don't add to the hate in the world.

Making it difficult to use these words will not stop people speaking about the things they represent. People will just find new words, new ways to get around the system. Adding these words to the auto-mod list does nothing but cow to the whims of bigots and delicate snow flakes that can't stand living in a world that has things in it they don't like. A reasonable society does not move backwards on the progress of it's people. These words are not offensive, and if not for the vocal minority they would not be divisive either.

Please do not add gay, lesbian, trans, or any other harmless words to the auto-mod list. All that does is tell millions of people all over the world, that use this platform, that their existence is something to keep hidden. To keep away from others who find their existence an uncomfortable reality. We all have to find solace in the parts of life we don't like, sweeping those parts under the carpet does nothing to help anyone. It just hurts us all.

The world is more than big enough for all the things we love and all the things we don't.

This is just dumb, why censor them if they're not offensive on their own? I mean if it's a slur like "***male" then I get, but censoring the word "trans" is dumb. You're just shooting yourself in the foot for that decision. Also, many homosexual people refer to themselves as gay, queer, lesbian, and no one gets offended.

Trans, gay, and lesbian persons account for a large part of my community and I will not see them silenced in talking about their lived experiences (which you have previously avowed to protect!) or who they are. And as a bisexual creator this is exactly the kind of thing that'll come for me next if it's allowed to pass.

As a transgender creator and moderator, this is ASTONISHINGLY ***-backwards on Twitch's/Amazon's part.

This type of censorship is unacceptable. We are here, we are not a thing to be moderated, controlled, or suppressed. We are people and you can't call people being themselves inappropriate. Only actions are and being Gay, Lesbian, and Trans is not an action.

Queer people are not inappropriate. We're literally just trying to exist. The fact that you'd try to censor our very existence during a time when the fascists in America are trying to erase us from existence is unconscionable. Twitch needs to reverse this decision
