Channel-following bot attacks seem to be back again. It is quite upsetting when content creators are streaming wether talking with the chat or just playing while they tell viewers how they feel when all of a sudden a bunch of notifications with pretty weird names pop up.

Streamers and viewers know that it is quite difficult to control these attacks considering that they are done every day, at any time. Despite the fact that there are some tools that in one way or another allow us to remove these bots, many of us believe that it would be better to find a way to prevent them.

Having said that and considering that in many chats we have to verify the account to be able to send messages... Why not do the same to be able to follow a channel? It would only be necessary to do it once as it happens when we want to talk on the chat rather than reporting these bot attacks time after time.

I don't know if it would be too complicated to add this measure, which I'm sure many streamers and viewers will appreciate. We would be very grateful.
