Fix copyright issues
So this might have been covered before, but for a lot of game streamers, copyrighted music is a problem in videos. One of the songs in a previous stream got muted. I have no problem with that. My issue if I could fix it is that the block that got muted is much longer than the song. 6 minutes gets muted versus the song which is only about 2 minutes of time in the video. I wish there was a way to unmute specific segments that are not part of the copyright. If there was a way to tell which songs in a game would need to be blocked or removed, I would also have zero issues with that as well.
Final Fantasy XV actually blocked music automatically that was not licensed by them. At least this was true using the share function on PlayStation 4 and something I hope that all games can do at some point in the future, but until then, it would be great to be able to have better options to fix these issues. I have no want or ill desire to just post things that would offend the creators or violate their wants.
If I am being completely honest, I do streaming for two key reasons and part of the reason I push them over to YouTube as well. Reason number 1, is my wife will often ask me what the last thing I did in a game was and if she missed something cool. Explaining things is not the same as just seeing it. Number 2, my memory is not the best and sometimes I go back and watch my videos just to figure out what I was doing or otherwise I end restarting the game from the beginning. It just gives me a way to skip around and get back on track even with sidequests or getting ready for a sequel if New Game+ is not an option. I do like to hear the story segments when possible though.
