A way to combat stream snipers
When banning people from chat, rather than letting them continue view the stream live force a 5 minute delay. This would help with stream sniping. It keeps the viewership, which is nice, but takes away the snipers advantage. I know incognito mode would probably mess that up, but at least it's a step in the right direction.

As a mod of several channels that stream competitive shooters, there really needs to be better protection from stream snipers, as theres currently... well theres currently nothing. Delays only go so far and it also interferes with the streamer being able to interact with chat and their community. Delays are only really suitable for streamers who dont interact often with chat, or people playing high stakes competitions. Blocking and banning stream snipers dont work. At times either the streamers or us mods are aware of who it is that is stream sniping and we should have the power (or at least the streamer should have it) to completely block those guilty of this, blocking both chat, and the stream itself from being viewed by these people. Blocking and banning as it currently is, is merely a bandaid on a broken arm with a bone exposed and doesnt do anything to protect the streamers from others stream sniping. Its infuriating, it can often be demoralizing and given its a bannable offence (completley banned) in most games, I struggle to see why its not the same on streaming platforms

Delay for Video Stream, not for chat, to prevent stream sniping but chat engagement
