DJs and performing on Twitch
During the current situation of the pandemic removing DJs from crucial entertainment venues, more DJs have turned to Twitch to help with their financial crisis while most clubs and bars are closed, as well as keeping their performing art fresh.
While DMCA is still putting a tight grip on recorded music on stream, and DJs are currently doing everything they can to prevent full tracks being played during their sets, will DJing on Twitch still become accessible during this time? Also, what is the policy for music mixed and cut up on the fly?

I know a lot of streamers that are streaming their talents as a DJ, but more of the talent comes from reforming the music and doing mashups with mixing. This will involve borrowing several popular songs in the meta and artists that are quite established in the music business. I am curious as to what the threshold is for reforming music as a DJ on twitch; whether or not streamers are allowed to do so, or how much they are allowed to do so (sample size of lyrics/music).

I would love a way to provide DJ sets for my audience and to help grow my audience during the pandemic and after. There is a large DJ community on twitch. I for one wouldn’t mind having to pay a fee or percentage of my twitch earnings for a License
