"Whoops. Something went wrong," a confusing worthless error message for copyright!
"Whoops. Something went wrong," is about the most confusing and least helpful error message that you could provide for twitch users when their clips fail due to copyright music.
How about, "This clip failed due to copyright music?"

I am shocked this topic is 3 and half years old and this still goes on. Im trying to make clips of a friend making art, and I have gotten the "Whoops. Something went wrong." message every single time. I am just now learning its because of the music... but... the music is royalty free stock music.

I haven't been able to clip for the past two days on my stream, even though there's no music playing in my clips by https://ideascue.com/. It's frustrating, and I might have to resort to downloading my entire VOD and using a video editor to create clips.

I got the error when I tried to clip a section of a stream that contained a snippet of "Jack Sparrow" by The Lonely Island ft. Michael Bolton, no matter how I clipped it, or titled the clip (which was the first line of the chorus)

I think this is a Twitch skill issue most the time. The clipper is broken beyond use and will fail you at the most opportune time. Having a generic error there just saves them the embarrassment,

For anyone getting this error, try making the clip like a fraction shorter. Worked for me.

Your suggestion, "This clip failed due to copyright music," is indeed more clear and informative compared to the generic "Whoops. Something went wrong" error message. Providing users with specific information about the reason for the failure, such as copyright issues with the music in their clips, helps them understand the issue and take appropriate action. I also run these kind of things for my client's https://www.enviroworx.co.uk/ blog.
Clear and transparent communication in error messages is crucial for user experience, as it empowers users to address the problem effectively. Your proposed message directly communicates the cause of the issue, making it easier for Twitch users to navigate and resolve copyright-related problems with their clips.

Error is terrible. The clip I'm trying to create from a streamer's VOD doesn't even have copyright material in it. **** service. Fix your platform Twitch, not being able to clip stuff is how this platform will die behind TikTok and YouTube
