For months upon months now I have been facing an issue with an increasing number of bots engaging in View Botting, Host Botting, and follow for follow economies, as well as a startling amount of Analytic Data gathering. It's absolutely disgusting that some of these bot channels are allowed to affiliate, and in one or two extreme cases (Hello, Commanderroot.) even are partners. It's frankly horrifying to me to see the analytic ones allowed to exist specifically.

We need an ability to remove these things from our channel completely. Banning a bot doesn't do anything if it's still allowed to sit there and gather attention in your chat by existing. I've been accused of viewbotting by their very existence in my channel. But there's nothing I can do because banning a bot is worthless.

These things gain attention by sitting in streams. Someone looks at the viewlist, takes a look a tthe random viewer doing nothing during downtime, finds the big ol' follow for follow and bot economy. Attention gained. These things damage the community by completely bypassing the point of trying to gain attention yourself as a streamer. It puts an unfair advantage on those who are willing to indulge in dubious, scrupulous activity to grow themselves.

And most of all, some of these bots scare the **** out of me. There's been plenty of stories of accounts being hijacked, of malicious bots gathering data on streamers and viewers alike. I don't want to have to sit and see bots with an unknown purpose sitting in my channel for months on end during every stream wondering if it's doing something in the background that's going to harm myself or my viewers. I report them all the time to no avail. One of them is even partnered under Twitch and that is an enormous slap in the face to people struggling to grow under the mass of already well established streamers.

Your lack of response to this is appalling, and we need our own solution to the growing number of bots if you are unwilling to do something about their growth yourself. Give us the ability to not just ban them from the chat, but to completely wall them off from rejoining to even view the chat and gather their data.
