1. indefinite account appeal. IM NOT A BOT

   my main account crowdog69b69t has an indefinite suspension for no reason. it says that i was flagged for being a bot or automated account. its been several days and still no real response from my appeal and by the looks of it, it doesnt seem like any real help will ever come. i had a lot of stuff on my account and now its all gone and the days are just piling over itself. i thought twitch was a trustworthy platform but now im afraid to spend my money here since everything can be taken away from me so abrubtly. the lack of real moderation has resulted in my account's indefinite suspension and is enabling trolls to mass report people to shut them down. i filed an appeal but it seems like im going to look forward to making an account reinstatement in the next 5 or 6 months if that even works.

2. Better Enforcement of Policies To Anyone Under Suspension/Ban

   Better enforcement of policies regarding individuals who are under suspension/ban. Anyone who commits violations to the ToS should get suspended/banned based on the offense, and if said individual commit any other violations (ban evasion, appearing on another person's account, etc.) while suspended/banned, they should automatically be hit with a permanent ban.

3. Ability to upload/add police reports and screenshots to appeals

   Streamers being targeted, spam reported and subsequently banned due to their gender, sexuality, race, etc. should be allowed to add supporting documentation to their ban appeal(s)

   Ex: if a streamer is reported and banned due to "inappropriate attire" but, prior to the report, the streamer was clearly harassed, threatened or hate raided on stream or in their DM's prior to the report/ban by the very person or persons that reported them, then they (the streamer) should be allowed to attach documents which show they were harassed/targeted.

   Hate groups and their members, and some horrible individuals are abusing the 'report user' feature and utilizing it as a means to unjustly harass, deplatform, demonetize and silence streamers based on their gender, race, sexual orientation, etc. If it can be shown that the person or persons reporting a streamer threatened or harassed the streamer prior to making their report, then the ban should be lifted immediately and the individual filing the report, should be banned instead.

   Because this is a growing trend, and abuse of the report user feature has run rampant, streamers, even when banned, should be allowed access to view and download their DM's, VODs, or chat logs so they can provide local law enforcement (and/or Twitch staff) with documents which substantiate any reports they would like to file concerning threats of violence/****/murder/stalking/hate crimes or sexual harassment.

   Several streamers have been targeted and harassed by those on your platform who abuse the 'report user' button to file false reports, and their actions go unpunished. There is an entire Twitter account dedicated to seeing who they can get wrongfully banned and deplatformed, a majority of those they focus on/target and celebrate being banned are women, men of color, and those in the LGBTQ+ community. They literally celebrate their "victories" in using Twitch's faulty bans and appeals systems to get "another _____ banned" it's disgusting.

   The more that women, POC and LGBTQ+ are removed and banned from Twitch, the more these hate groups and their followers will thrive, and it will kill your community, your earnings, and your site.

   Seeing hate groups and racist or misogynistic individuals celebrate online every time they get a female streamer or streamer of color wrongfully banned, watching them brag about who has successfully gotten the most POC or woman or lesbians off the platform, and knowing they used Twitch's own features and faulty system to do it...it's heartbreaking.

   Reporting and banning creators based on their gender, gender identity or race has become a sport to some of your users, and those targeted and banned by these monsters are left with absolutely no voice.

   Individuals affiliated with hate groups are exploiting your faulty report, ban and appeals systems. Meanwhile, your creators, that ones that were actually bringing money to your platform, suffer. POC, women and those in the LGBTQ+ community who were banned unjustly have no means to access their DM's, Chat Logs, etc. and no place in the appeal portal to upload proof to show they were targeted, harassed, or threatened by those reporting them. There's not even a place to attach a police report if you filed on against a person known to harass and report you... you're silencing the victims of hate crimes and targeted attacks, and believing every user that files a report not realizing it's being used as a means to hurt the streamer for no other reason than who they are.

   These hate groups and the individuals that support them will report streamers for things they have not done--yet filing a false report or spam reporting comes with no consequences, why? Currently, the report, ban, and appeals systems are designed in a way where banned streamers can't see who reported them, they can't provide evidence of harassment or threats leading up to the report, their appeals often go unread, and bans/strikes on their account that are unfounded never get removed, all this is simply encouragement for members of hate groups or individuals targeting people based on race/gender, to continue doing what they are doing, their attacks are successful and as such, they won't stop. It's a loophole that these individuals and members of extremist or hate groups, are exploiting rapidly.

   Streamers who have been repeatedly targeted and victims of spam reporting do not get their wrongfully issued bans reset or removed, and their appeals often go unanswered or denied--leaving them with several strikes against their account for violations they did not commit. After 2 or 3 attacks, hate raids or false reports, these streamers are permabanned, simply for being a POC, female, or member of the LGBTQ+ community on Twitch at a time where it's far too easy for hate groups to target streamers, harass them, threaten them and then get them banned unfairly.

   Adding an option that would allow streamers to show proof in their appeal that they were targeted, that the person(s) responsible for reporting them have been repeatedly threatening/harassing/targeting them and/or abusing the report user feature to file false reports against them and others, would be a huge step forward in showcasing that you truly support and value your streamers, ALL of them, not just the big ones or those who are buddy buddy with staff. . .

   It's also imperative that streamers who are banned not be immediately locked out of their account/DM's (as this is essentially preventing them from collecting, downloading or screenshotting evidence of harassment, sexual harassment, or threats of violence) there must be a way to prevent reported streamers from streaming if banned, while also allowing them access to important documents which can substantiate their claims and reports, such as DM's, Chat Logs, Clips or Stills that support not only their appeal but any reports they wish to file with local law enforcement if they feel unsafe--which often times, they do.

   Taking that right away, preventing a targeted, harassed, or threatened streamer from immediately obtaining Dm's, Chat Logs, VOD's or other documents on your site, which may help with properly reporting or identifying those harassing or threatening acts of violence against them and/or others, is unconscionable.

   Nothing should impede a streamers ability to obtain evidence of threats or harassment and file a report with local law enforcement, especially not a false report made by a hate group or member of, that was made merely to target, deplatform or demonetize a streamer due to their gender, race, or sexual orientation.

   It's important when filing a report with law enforcement to have as much information as possible, but the ability to do that is taken away from the victim/targeted streamer when they are immediately locked out of their account, without any proof. You are essentially punishing streamers and rewarding users that filing false reports with the system you have in place now, they know this, and as such, continue to utilize this practice. They are aware of the fact that once the streamer is banned, they can do nothing to report them, stop them, obtain information needed to file a report with LEO's, nothing, so they make threatening/hateful comments until the moment they get the streamer banned, and face zero repercussions.

   Fostering an environment where hate groups and their supporters are allowed to thrive, file false reports repeatedly without consequence, and succeed in getting streamers banned due to their race, gender, religion, etc. is against the very values Twitch claims to hold dear. As it stands, your actions and policies, or lack-thereof, do not support your values.

   There must be a better review process in place for bans and appeals, because at this time, hate groups are taking advantage of this loophole/issue to ensure that women, POC, and those in the LGBTQ+ community are silenced and no longer able to stream--if we don't take action now, this will only continue to fester and grow, getting worse as time goes on.

   It's not just about fostering a community of inclusiveness, but revenue is impacted as well, while these small-ish streamers being targeted may not seem like a big deal because they don't garner the impressive numbers big streamers do, they do add up, just one streamer that is wrongfully permabanned due to targeted attacks that has say 50k followers, generating an average 4k in revenue a month (not including ads), is a consistent 2k that you are wiping out, when you account for how many are banned due to targeted attacks, and an inability to state their case and challenge their appeals properly, you're talking tens if not hundreds of thousands a month in revenue slipping through your hands--you are hemorrhaging money by allowing a system which permabans streamers that garner steady views and generate consistent revenue on your site. Doing nothing to stop hate groups and their members who work to get those bringing income to your site removed--is and will continue to be, a hinderance in your earnings. Why continue to cater to those that aren't bringing money to the site by implementing a system which rewards them for targeting streamers and filing false reports? An improved ban/appeals system to combat this issue would improve revenue and the community as a whole.
