Have a special badge for streamers to give to clip creators, like the artist badge. Have a special badge for streamers to give badges, like the artist badge. I don't want a bunch of junk clips. I would like good quality clips. Picking a good clip is an art, naming them well is even more important. So if I see viewers that are clipping well in my community, I want to be able to reward them well.

art badges I think that 5 artist badges is too few. Many streamers have multiple artists for emotes, png/vtuber models, riggers, overlays, brb & starting soon screens. Especially considering that you can have significantly more VIP & Moderators than 5, it seems strange to limit the artists you'd like to recognize to only 5.

Let us archive emotes we no longer plan on using Please let us archive permanent emotes we've unlocked through various promotions.
One jarring example is the HyperScape emotes. The game shut down a year ago, and no amount of spamming HyperCrown will bring it back. Personally, I think I completed the set just by using the site, despite the fact I couldn't get into the game. What happens now though is, every time I want to use a "Hype" emote (eg. eavHype) I have to type in the full name manually because there's no way to break from "Hyper". VIP AND MOD badge Mod and VIP request:
As a user of twitch i grinded channel points and finally bought VIP with them.I later applied for mod and luckily got it.
Now i see that all my progress is gone, since i cant have both the VIP and MOD role/badge on my profile at the same time and i would really appreciate getting that feature with being able to have both MOD and VIP5 votes -

Instant Upload Eligibility While attempting to get Instant Upload Eligibility for emotes, I'm struggling to tell how many days I've been live since reaching Affiliate.
If there was some way of telling the user their progress for Instant Upload I think it would go a long way to making it more clear and understood for new Affiliates that they haven't done anything wrong and are simply working through a process instead.5 votes -
the "MyAvatar" global emote is almost only used for transphobia. This emote was added some months ago and I personally have only ever seen it used in a transphobic context. Any time gender is brought into question or even the slightest hint of someone being trans is brought up at least 1 person types this emote.
I don't think there's any negative to removing this emote as its use is super niche and replaceable anyways. But the fact it is a character designed to look goofy is almost always used to mock trans people.5 votes -

More lower-end bit badges Bit badges go from 1 cent, to a dollar, to 10 dollars, to 50, to 100. Shouldnt there be a 5 dollar bit badge? and maybe a 25? the badges are insanely steep. I'm an affiliate and I can set literally 28 badges, and yet it costs $10 worth of bits to get the third one. I can set 28 badges and yet people wont see any past the first two. As an affiliate, does twitch ever realistically expect someone to donate 5,000,000 bits? Nobody donates bits past the 100 mark to get the second badge. Theres just no bridge…

More Tier emote slots for affiliates While I know the slots for affiliates got bumped up to 9 within the last year or so, I still think the amount of slots for affiliates (when compared to partners) is incredibly unbalanced. Some affiliates can have thousands of followers, a dedicated community, etc. and still struggle to get partner - so it seems a little unfair to limit affiliates to 9 tier 1 slots when partners can get up to 60 emote slots. I wouldn't say it has to be a drastic/unreasonable number, but 15-20 tier 1 slots, or even giving 5 emotes for tier 2 and tier…

Allow streamers to download emotes from the Emote Library As it stands right now if an emote, specifically an animated one, is animated using Twitch's "Easy Animate" option it uploads into the Emote Library. However, there is no one-click option to download the emotes made this way. Currently you need to download the .0 file and then convert it off-site into a .gif to be able to house this and upload it to, say, Discord for community use.
I'd like to see a download option for each emote, especially animated, in the Emote Library.

emote marketplace A lot of people subscribe to a channel just to get access to an emote. If there were an indexable, taggable "Emote Marketplace" where you could search for specific tags and purchase subscriptions to the channel, you would sell a lot more subscriptions (a lot easier to implement than micro emote purchases) Would likely need some pretty complex technology to make it happen, but I can imagine how to accomplish it -helmetwearer (same github handle, pinned project twitch related)

Affiliates need more slots and animated We all know that emotes bring the stream to life. But we also know that it takes a lot of work to unlock slots, especially for smaller streamers. It's always a joy when we have a new slot available, but then why can't there be animated slots in bits? Keep the same preferences for animated emotes in VOD chat as live chat I disabled animated emotes in live chat, it works on live chat, but on VOD, I see animated emotes on chat.

Pride 2022 event I'd like there to be a pride event just like in 2019 and 2020.
There are many great creators, myself included, who'd love to design new emotes for the comunity to unlock and use all over twitch during pride month.

Add more things like vip badges, I think there should be more badges for the streamer to give out in chat like the vip badge for example something to show long time followers and subs, a badge for people who donate a lot, a longest lasting sub badge

A way for mods/streamers to disable chat Recently, a streamer I moderate got spam botted, we did our best to disable chat to prevent it any further (Enabling emote only, follow only at the max time, and slow mode at the max time) but still couldn't stop them. I think it would be really good for twitch to add a "Disable chat" option for mods and streamers alike.

Make global emotes for other languages as twitch and esports continues to grow For example, "Jaja" is equivalent to Haha, so make an emote JAJA equivalent to the LUL one that is relevant to spanish speakers (it could be from a top spanish streamer).
This extends to other languages -- as Twitch viewership/streaming and E-Sports continues to grow, the need to include more relevant emotes for the different languages does as well.
