Pronoun bio field and chat integration
Following up my comment on https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/42218083-pronouns-prefix
It would be great if there were a dedicated Bio field in which we could put our pronouns, and a chat feature similar to the functionality provided by https://pronouns.alejo.io/ to display pronouns right alongside names in chat. This could also be used to populate a tag-like display near the streamer's name.
Tags for streamers are a start, but I'd like to be able to consult someone's bio (if they choose to disclose pronouns) so I can refer to them properly when they're not currently streaming and be able to refer to viewers properly.

My friends (self included) in the Black, Asian, and LGBTQIA2+ communities have been very vocal about adding tags for separate identities, such as a "trans" tag or a "black tag." I agree that such tags would be incredibly helpful in finding streamers who share experience with the viewer, and helps Twitch to feature more diverse streamers in people's feeds/recommendations.
While I will continue to support the fight for these tags (such as this one: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/310210-discover/suggestions/43152291-black-tag ), I think there is potentially a more far-reaching system that could help everyone all at once. Why not introduce a new page within settings/channel dashboard that allows a user to set their identity? This could range from race to orientation to gender identity, and beyond as needed. This feature (preferably with togglable visibility) could be used in conjunction with the tag system to provide better searchability for marginalized creators.
This could be useful for viewers in other ways as well. A pronoun selection is one thing I know a lot of viewers and creators alike have been wanting for a while. There's even a very popular browser extension that's been made to enable this pending the introduction of a native feature. This could be integrated into the settings menu or potentially the "chat identity" tab. There are some definite up- and down-sides to each of the placements, but any setting is better than none.
The most important thing about anything that gets added is to make sure that the community has input in how the feature is implemented. Best not to leave anyone out!

SO SO SO IMPORTANT! So people can feel included and most importantly, safe.

This is so important for people to feel included and seen. Pronouns of all kinds need to be normalized and this is a simple yet massive step in doing so. It also allows streamers to properly address their viewers without accidentally misgendering them. As the amount of trans people using this platform continues to grow, it is more vital than ever to make sure they feel welcome in a place that's meant for people to have fun and relax.

@YadoranSA ...you do know literally everyone has pronouns right? Even cis people.

People are incorrectly calling this "inclusive" it is definitely not. This excludes people who do not belong to your dogmatic ideology. In other words, you just want to be inclusive of people in your own social circle/beliefs and cast out the rest. And, like I said, that is not inclusive. So where is the vote down button?

I understand the reasoning behind this, but ya'll know that Streamers, especially ones with very active chats or ones playing games that need focus don't always have the option/ability to check ya'lls profiles to see this info right?
If this is an issue that bothers you, ya'll know you can always edit your usernames too include this right?
Besides, in my years of watching twitch, most streamers always refer to people as "chat" or by a users profile name... that's not true of all channels of course, but please realize that this might be demanding too much from twitch streamers.
Otherwise, why not just find an lgbtqia friendly streamer with a smaller community and a discord? Most streamers I've found with the lgbtqia friendly tag have discords where you can chose pronouns.
Voting regardless because I do support the idea. I just hope ya'll realize that it'll be difficult in a way for both streamers and viewers to be happy.

Opt-in native pronoun tags will allow people to do more to create safer spaces for LGBTQ communities. Right now the only way to do this is with a Google Chrome extension

Twitch needs to add an option to allow users to add their pronouns to their profile! There's a browser extension which allows you to choose your pronouns, and it adds them as a badge next to your username. I would love to see this!

Pleeeeeease! Not that Twitch actually cares about any of us, taking over a year and thousands of votes to post that they noticed (but haven't done anything about) adding a trans tag to their existing tag system...
Still, support for displaying pronouns is very needed. I muchly like having them in brackets after users' names. This seems common and easy to spot and understand.
And now back to trying to puzzle out a name change that has pronouns in it.

The only argument against this is that people might target and harass people who have chosen to do this which is banable anyways. Upvote!
