Channel Page: About

Add a way to request logo for links in profile banner

Right now there are multiple user voices related to the links without a favicon/logo:

- https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/928429-channel-page/suggestions/40005379-discord-logo-for-links-on-the-new-channel-page

I know that allowing the user to customize this can lead to confusion/security issues, but would be awesome to have a google forms or a dedicated flow to request the custom svgs for a new domain. I have one social platform that multiple channels are linking, but I have no idea how to get this feature support.

Hello, I am a new affiliate and want to make sure I follow the guidelines! I understand steam elements with PayPal is acceptable.... are any hyper links to other platforms for donation against the rules? examples would be cashapp/venmo/ etc

Under Settings > Channel > Social Links you can get the icon for Instagram, Twitter, Discord, etc. but not for TikTok. With TikTok becoming a massive platform for growth, it would be nice to have the icon available, as well.

Some people use custom links to redirect to sites, including Discord and don't always use a discord . gg URL or something similar - use the Favicon from the site like YouTube does, this would allow icons to be more clear instead of having a bunch of standard hyperlink icons hanging around

When you add Twitter, YouTube and other social channels, there is an icon for the site. However, LinkedIn displays a generic "link" icon.

Yeah, in particular, as Twitch partners heavily with Extra Life, can we get an EL icon?

Would it be a problem to pull favicons in general?

Currently when you put your donation link to either Streamlabs or Streamelements into the "Social Links" it just shows the basic URL Icon. It would be nice for the profile page to recognize what donation service is linked, that way I could get rid of panels altogether and save panels for extension based tools. Basically I just want "Social Links" to populate more rich icons.
