2000 channels follows limit is too low
Hello, I follow a lot of people on Twitch, a lot of people have not started streaming yet, will probably do it soon or will not stream at all.
I find it impossible that the channel follow limit is 2000 follow.
Please increase the number to at least 10000 channel follows, so that I can follow more than 2000 channels & users.
Even on Youtube there is no channel following limit!
Please increase this, I have to delete users from my channel list all the time, which annoys me a lot.
I also find it very dubious for a streaming platform that there is such a limit at all.
At the moment I can't see which channel I'm following because it's no longer displayed in the browser since Twitch redesigned it.
2000 channels to follow are just too few, please fixt this problem.

We all have our favourite Streamers to follow & i think this twitch limit is to low & how are us Twitch Streamers suppose to grow with such a low limit of 2000 followers ?

If anything I would like to be able to categorize the streamers I follow in seperate folders... so one folder for IRL streamers another for gamers and another for Bathtub/Poolgirls.. oops I didnt write that.
But just like a windows explorer folder, I'd like to arrange my followed streamers in categories in subcategories.

I follow a lot of people and would love to not have to worry about unfollowing people to follow anyone else

please this has been driving me nuts for years, an efficient way to unfollow inactive streamers at a minimum.. it's impossible to know who who is streaming.. also it limits who I am aware of, DJ Qbert streams.. one of the greatest scratch DJ's of all time.. I would love to see one of his sets.. but I don't have the follow to spare, not one follow...

I would like to add something to this, if I try to manually unfollow some old channels, first I have to scroll down for TWO HOURS (ridiculous) to get to the bottom and start cleaning up. Then if my browser somehow refreshes that's ANOTHER TWO HOURS to get to the bottom of the list. Either increase the max follows, or add an unfollow tab where you can click boxes next to your follows, and unfollow multiple channels at once. (And make it so that they all load at once) We are your users, you are supposed to make this platform easy to use and user-friendly, well it's not.

Yes this is ridiculous. PLUS the process you have to go through to unfollow people is also ridiculous, you have to scroll through ALL 2000 people and start at the bottom, and if your page happens to close/refresh, you are OUT OF LUCK and have to start over. Please increase the limit.

As others have said (see Meadow's comment for an excellent summary) the follower limit is too low. Increasing the follower count will help to build community on Twitch. Following serves a variety of purposes, all of them community-building in nature. As Dan Clancy has said, when streamers succeed, Twitch succeeds. Enabling and taking actions to support community building is critical to Twitch's success at community building, which in turn is critical to Twitch's ongoing success as a platform. People are on Twitch for the community. Lets help them reach that community with a much higher follower limit. Thank you!

個人覺得twitch上限追隨2千台那要有相對的系統 很久沒開台的建議清除名單的分類
2千要慢慢找真的很累 -

2k is way too small. i been with this platform since the justin.tv days. and if i didn't constantly have to purge i'd be following way way way way way way waaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more channels. this should be AT LEAST a double digit K number, my network of ppl i know is more than 3k alone and i cant even fit them all in. this needless sacrifice of interconnectivity between creators is a garbage limit and needs to be increased if not eliminated entirely. at the very least if bots are a concern limit how many you can do over daily period but that number also needs to be triple digit minimum and probably higher when this policy is first changed. it needs to be changed for practicality sake. anything that limits the growth of connections in a social platform is an antisocial policy in direct opposition to the premise of the thing itself. please do better.

What an absolutely RIDICULOUS limit to set. What technical reason could you POSSIBLY have for limiting who follows who (there isn't one). Change this, change this, change this. WOW.....
