moving chat to left side The ability to move the chat to the left side of the page so it's closer to my gaming monitor would be nice as a viewer.
My main monitor that I game on is on the left, and having to look to the far right to check chat is kind of annoying instead of taking a glance to the right, especially when trying to mod while gaming.If would be nice if we could swap the chat with the menu bar and set it to be permanent in settings.

stories Please give us the ability to completely block certain sections we do not want to see. For example, Stories or Recommended Channels. Even a simple check list in settings so they can be toggled off or on. I specifically VERY VERY much HATE to see Stories clogging up screen space, and have stopped following streamers who post them just so I don't have to see that field pop up.

REMOVE/DISABLE Stories on the Profile Picture!!! Not only is stories REALLY annoying on mobile, and it seems no one wants them.
NOW the website has stories that are annoying too.
I ALWAYS click on the Profile Picture of the streamer I'm watching to open their profile to see their clips, vods, or other content that is there, in case I missed something while tabbed away to go back in the vod and see what I missed.
You replaced this function now with the stories. So now I can't even access a user's page without clicking on their name in the stream.
Why?

Go back to old layout Go back to the new layout.. the new one is horrible I just want to see the ones I follow in columns and not in a full window. And mixing in streams I don't follow makes me not want to use twitch much longer.

SlowCHAT 4 VIPs please!!!! @twitchteam I would like to have a slow chat for vips, it would be best if this is also activated when the normal chat is active, or if the mods could additionally activate it for the vips.

Ability for Streamer to Flag "Stream Ended due to Technical Difficulties" so Streaks aren't Lost My computer decided that a few minutes after I went live, it would be a GREAT time for everything to go belly-up. I felt horrible because I know some of my viewers were on 30+ stream streaks. I tried to fix the issues without reboot, but it was just getting worse every step of the way... I had to reboot the PC which was long enough to kill the stream and reset a whole bunch of watch streaks :(

Only Allow Logged In Viewers to Watch A Stream Please allow the option for streamers to force people watching to be logged in (or even following) to watch the stream. Also allow streamers to ban watching a stream all together.
Reason: A lot of Streamers are attacked by Stream Sniping and not being able to know who is watching your stream can really hurt reporting them through the proper channels or banning them from your channel.
This is very important for players who roleplay with stream snipers. This can really ruin the idea of the roleplay community especially from a smaller streamer point of view. Most RP servers disallow…

General/Sponsored Activities feature within Offline Channels A new feature that enables users to be active in offline channels rewarding both user and channel owner. For example tasks like Surveys or Sponsored Tasks that give the user "Bits" and "Channel Points" for achieving these tasks and the channel owner earns if the user is involved in a paid task. (This would also increase engagement for the Suggested Channels page, as more users would see which Channels are on the person's page.)

Keep our Channels looking fresh! Display most recent additions videos to Collections first We love the Collections on our channel pages. It helps us show the unique moments in our broadcasts and organize them based on topic. Especially for those of us that have a variety of subject matter topics, activities or games we play.
But one thing prevents us from getting the full potential of our Collections. The Videos in the Collection Carousels are displayed with the oldest video first. As such, people look at the Videos tab and always see the same videos under each Collection every time.
The Recent Broadcasts and The Recent Highlights and Uploads seems to do this…

opt out of watch streak spam The watch streak feature is annoying. Any way to opt out of it for either a streamer or viewer? Streamers are annoyed about the chat spam it causes. Obviously we can ignore the button, but some people still click it.

Block Streamer Channel from ANY visibility Please allow an option to block streamers, removing all visibility of them from the homepage, creator dashboard, and "resume watching" page.
There is a long, long, long list of reasons why both streamers and viewers may not want to see a streamers content show up in any shape or form while browsing twitch, ranging from content or even personal history between people that can either be a nuisance to extremes of being trauma triggering.

Do Not Redirect Setting Please add a Do No Redirect optional button on the settings page.
When the streamer you are currently watching is going to end the stream, sometimes they redirect you to another person's channel. I DO NOT LIKE THAT! I had the experience where I got redirected to someone's stream which I do not want to see! It made me feel terrible! The audience should decide if they want to get redirected or not in the first place. If the streamer ends their streaming, just let it stay on his page quietly, not redirected to someone whom you are not expecting…

Filtering/customization in the Following page Problem description: I will follow a streamer because I enjoy watching a certain game they play. Over time, my following list grows. When a day comes where many of them are live, but none of them are playing the games I followed them for, I tend to unfollow those streamers in order to 'clean up' and trim down my bloated following list. I'd much prefer another option.
Possible solutions:

Visual indication of viewer status There is a lot of confusion around when someone is or is not being counted as a viewer. Adding a simple indicator to a viewers interface that indicates they should be counted as a viewer (or not) may help to alleviate some of this confusion. It would also help viewers better understand what it takes to actually be counted as a viewer to support the streamers they care about.

Tab for top clips of the streamers you follow Under the following tab on the Twitch app, recently added was a section titled “Recently featured clips”.
Twitch should make a section that simply shows most viewed clips from all of the streamers you follow.
It would allow viewers to stay up to date on the content from streamers that they follow. The current system requires the streamers themselves to feature certain clips, which streamers will unfortunately not keep up with.
