Text-to-speech chat I am a streamer I can't read my chat because I have a disability there needs to be a text to speech program that reads the chat out loud for people with disabilities Preferably something that works with OBS and the majority of streaming software's so streamers with disabilities can communicate with their viewers

Revert your last change to the chat text box When you added the ability to have emotes appear in the text box, instead of the text that makes the emote appear, it broke the "Press Enter after message" option in stream deck buttons that type text wherever the cursor is.
As a (physically disabled) mod who often needs to quickly type the same few commands for bots in another channel's chat, I use several of these stream deck buttons. This change has reduced the speed I can sent these commands by a lot. So, please restore the ability for stream deck buttons to send messages after typing them.

Choosing between HTML and plain text emails Providing plain text emails is an important aspect of user accessibility. They're easier to look at and less error-prone to assistive technologies.
It also plays a role in respecting user privacy.6 votes -
mute button The mute button is discriminatory against people who can't speak. There are more than 1 million people who are mute. Calling the button as that term not only reduces their suffering to a button of convenience but also equates them to being worth nothing. Please change the name to '0 volume' or 'no volume'.

Im a blind streamer, I know alot of my diffculties with games or on here is not beign able to find things to make my experience enjoyible. It took me 5 days to figure out how to unsubscribe, or even find a chat bot, high contrast fonts, or the ability to text to read or a warning whomever engages with me, knows Im blind, because no one ever reads the profiles. to understand Im not going to behave or interact with them the same way as sighted streamers

Stop censoring the closed caption It's very important that captions are not censored. I am hard of hearing but some users are completely deaf or have more difficulty hearing than I do.
The purpose of captions is to show, verbatim, what is being said by somebody. If I can hear somebody curse in the stream I should be able to read that in the captions. Full stop.
This is a part of a disturbing trend of closed captions automatically censoring words. This is infantilizing hard of hearing people and is antithetical to the purpose of Closed Captions, which is to make things accessible for those…

Stop requiring unnecessary phone verification You know these commands that people have in their channels, you type !command and it does something? For example, you type !links and it gives you links.
Once upon a time, there was such a command. Unfortunately, it was broken and was providing a wrong link. So I took it upon myself to post the correct link a few times, as asked in the chat.
Next thing I know, Twitch requires me to verify my phone. It's a relatively old account, with gifted subs, and so on, so it's obvious I'm not a bot or anything.
But no, provide your…

Self Identity creator tags :3 / visual guides ^^ Self Identity creator tags / visual guides :3
Now think with me, people might be looking for other creators though tags to filter out their preferences, and i think that's neat saves time and its efficient and a great way to find new favorite company for your hours spent on twitch!
But there isn't a way to go to someone's profile though tags D: oh no!
Fear NOT!
My suggestion is that we should add "identity tags" that would serve as visual references as soon as you opened someones profile!
Tags right next to your profile that would identify you…5 votes -
Live captions There should always be an option for live captioning so those who are hard of hearing can enjoy streams as well!

Sound channels for users Different sound channels allow users to adjust various elements, such as game sound, the streamer's microphone, and other notification alerts. There will be a default option for streamers and additional adjustment choices for different sound channels.

Being able to toggle current Content Creator music ON/OFF
…I have been watching Twitch since around 2014-2015 and it is one of my favorite go to platforms to watch my favorite Content Creators. There are all sorts of great features and options for you to use and explore, but there is one thing I think everyone is over looking. When watching my favorite content creators personally I love the gameplay and the personality of the creator that makes the stream enjoyable, and that's why I am here. I am more than happy that Creators can listen to their music now without to many consequences because of the way twitch5 votes -
Let people make new lines in one chat message As the title says, please let people make new lines (and even a free space line) in text messages.
For me as disabled streamer with problems recognizing the small letters bc of my eyes and problems with understanding too, it's horrible to get a 500 signs message with no free line in a big block.
It's so hard to see/understand what people write. On bad days it's even impossible. That is useless stress and embarrassment for me, plus viewers aren't happy if their message is not/wrong understand too.
New Lines and free spaces could make this so much better -…

Make Commands Clickable As My Disease Makes Typing Difficult Whenever I am watching a stream and they start a raffle or other interactive event, I normally feel very left out as my muscle-weakening disability makes it impossible for me to type the command fast enough. It would be great if any !command in the chat (or anywhere else on the page) could be a clickable link that pastes the entire command in my chat box, so I just have to press Send. This would help me feel included, and would likely help slow typers or viewers who live with dyslexia avoid having to correctly type every command. Thank you!

TTS for speech impaired streamers I’m speech impaired and a large amount of streaming relies on the streamer communicating with their audience, although typing while gaming is difficult I do think the ability to turn text into speech built in twitch for streamers would allow many streamers like me to produce content other than just gaming, I for one would love to do talk shows with friends about gaming/movies/anime etc but I’m held back because there’s no support for speech impaired streamers on twitch as far as I’m aware.

Report Bug Other I am attempting to report a bug with closed captions. I can not find a way to do it. A report bug other, fill in the field would have saved me about a half hour at this point. I am watching the rerun of critical role and the closed captions are gibberish. They work fine for the 7pm run and not the 12am run. It has been this way for atleast 3 weeks.

Light theme option for theatre mode It would be nice to have the option to have a light themed chat while in theatre mode for those of us who use light theme as default. Right now it switches to dark theme whenever theatre mode is enabled while watching a stream.

a command for following a person Blind users of the sight use a number of programs to help them however going and clicking buttons can be awkward with those programs a chat command that they could run to follow someone would be great, even better if they could do it from a different channel and follow with a @ when someone is shoutouted out.

Disable livestream playing on VOD page I need you to understand something, Twitch. I am autistic. I have visual and audio hypersensitivity issues. When I go to look at VODs while the livestream is going, the livestream plays behind the VOD thumbnails. It defaults to playing with audio on. There does not even appear to be the basic option of a pause button. The only way to pause is to click the stream which brings it do the front, then pause, then hit the back button to get back to where you were.
I cannot stress enough how completely and utterly terrible this design is. I…
