Disable livestream playing on VOD page
I need you to understand something, Twitch. I am autistic. I have visual and audio hypersensitivity issues. When I go to look at VODs while the livestream is going, the livestream plays behind the VOD thumbnails. It defaults to playing with audio on. There does not even appear to be the basic option of a pause button. The only way to pause is to click the stream which brings it do the front, then pause, then hit the back button to get back to where you were.
I cannot stress enough how completely and utterly terrible this design is. I literally cannot use this ui. I would go so far as to call it a crime against usability and yes I know that is hyperbole and I don't even care anymore. It is a HUGE accessibility issue for me. Please provide an option to disable this functionality and return to the old UI method of only showing the livestream when you are on the livestream page.
I actually cannot imagine who this design even benefits. If I am looking at VODs it is because I want to watch those, not the livestream. Furthermore, I frequently follow tournaments on twitch, and want to watch VODs I missed without literally being spoiled by the current match loading itself automatically in the background with no way to turn it off except going to the stream and absolutely being spoiled. Seriously, why was this even done.
If there is already an option to disable this I apologize, but in all my searching I could not find it. If this is not the appropriate place for this feedback I am also sorry but this is where your help site put me so this is where I am posting it. You have successfully made a huge portion of your site unusable for me, and I desperately need you to give me (and others like me who deal with these issues) a way to disable this.
