Ensure that rules around being asleep on stream are not discriminatory
As someone with a condition similar to Narcolepsy I am potentially subject to sleep attacks - without notable warning.
As far as i am aware, the current ToS would result in me being potentially banned should i have a sleep attack while streaming and not have a Mod in chat at that precise moment.
I am currently a small streamer (and while that reduces the likelihood of me being reported for 'unattended chat while streamer sleeps' it doesn't eliminate it - and that may change over time), and as such it is not always possible to have a mod lurking…

Twitch mobile app Volume Slider
I'm experiencing an issue on Android 11 where the volume coming from any and all streams through the Twitch mobile app is distinctly quiet to the point of being inaudible unless I set my phone to max volume. This has caused intense usability and accessibility issues on my Android mobile phone as I have to set my phone to max volume to be able to hear any Twitch channel through speakers and/or headphones which causes intense pain when using any other sound/voice app such as Discord, messaging apps, etc. Is there a way the Twitch mobile app's volume can be…

Make Commands Clickable As My Disease Makes Typing Difficult
Whenever I am watching a stream and they start a raffle or other interactive event, I normally feel very left out as my muscle-weakening disability makes it impossible for me to type the command fast enough. It would be great if any !command in the chat (or anywhere else on the page) could be a clickable link that pastes the entire command in my chat box, so I just have to press Send. This would help me feel included, and would likely help slow typers or viewers who live with dyslexia avoid having to correctly type every command. Thank you!

OBS plugin for live captioner to allow higher accuracy closed captions
OBS plugin that a live captioner could use - currently it doesn't seem there is any captioner-compatible software to use with OBS/Atem - this would mean higher accuracy captions for live broadcasts as currently accuracy isn't so great and also cuts out.

Choosing between HTML and plain text emails
Providing plain text emails is an important aspect of user accessibility. They're easier to look at and less error-prone to assistive technologies.
It also plays a role in respecting user privacy.5 votes -
mute button
The mute button is discriminatory against people who can't speak. There are more than 1 million people who are mute. Calling the button as that term not only reduces their suffering to a button of convenience but also equates them to being worth nothing. Please change the name to '0 volume' or 'no volume'.

Im a blind streamer,
I know alot of my diffculties with games or on here is not beign able to find things to make my experience enjoyible. It took me 5 days to figure out how to unsubscribe, or even find a chat bot, high contrast fonts, or the ability to text to read or a warning whomever engages with me, knows Im blind, because no one ever reads the profiles. to understand Im not going to behave or interact with them the same way as sighted streamers

Fix the system for autistics
Problem:
- Search for "declare yourself autistic twitch tv" and no expected results will come.- The BIG issue:
- TWTV has grown up and its too huge, there is not enough ppl on the earth that can track down what is being said, who is about to commit a crime, who is about to harass someone. That's why we should focus on the "system" itself. I am first focusing on the ppl with autism, the most sensible people, the others should be next.
Major characteristics for people at the classic side of the autism spectrum that can manifest on TWTV:

a command for following a person
Blind users of the sight use a number of programs to help them however going and clicking buttons can be awkward with those programs a chat command that they could run to follow someone would be great, even better if they could do it from a different channel and follow with a @ when someone is shoutouted out.

Disable livestream playing on VOD page
I need you to understand something, Twitch. I am autistic. I have visual and audio hypersensitivity issues. When I go to look at VODs while the livestream is going, the livestream plays behind the VOD thumbnails. It defaults to playing with audio on. There does not even appear to be the basic option of a pause button. The only way to pause is to click the stream which brings it do the front, then pause, then hit the back button to get back to where you were.
I cannot stress enough how completely and utterly terrible this design is. I…

Move Form Titles out of the Form
The search form (and a few other forms) aren't screen reader friendly because they list the form title within the form which disappears as you start typing, stopping you from hearing the form title after entering text.

consider adding CC availability to VODs for the deaf and hard of hearing.
It is something that has crossed my mind when I watch streamers past VODs: Is there really no option for CC to be added? How to go about it, I think would be the real challenge. I believe the best way would be to allow the option for the streamers themselves to add CC to their VODs and/or allow mods/a person they trust, to do it for them if they so wish. Another way that it could be done would be to allow streamers to flag videos they desire CC on and have a dedicated Twitch CC Provider then watch…

Closed Caption Translations
Can we add an ability for users to be able to translate closed captions? I recently added them to my stream to try to help a viewer who doesn't speak English and I could only talk to them through chat, but I was bummed to realize that he can't see them in his language.
I realize that it would cost Twitch money to translate captions through a server, but it also seems like such a basic thing for the user experience. I'm sure there are streamers that I would like, but I can't understand their stream due to the language…

Subtitles
I think it can be hard to hear and understand everything and can see in chat, many users have this problem too.
So let the single users chose subtitles or not subtitles, just like they also have at YouTube.
Steamers do not know this problem real and why no one chose subtitles.4 votes -
TTS for speech impaired streamers
I’m speech impaired and a large amount of streaming relies on the streamer communicating with their audience, although typing while gaming is difficult I do think the ability to turn text into speech built in twitch for streamers would allow many streamers like me to produce content other than just gaming, I for one would love to do talk shows with friends about gaming/movies/anime etc but I’m held back because there’s no support for speech impaired streamers on twitch as far as I’m aware.

scrollbar
Browser scrollbar is 99% invisible and 1 pixel width.. pretty bad UX for everyone, especially if you have bad eye sight or not ultra accurate mouse hand coordination, but i guess twitch doesnt care about that.

Report Bug Other
I am attempting to report a bug with closed captions. I can not find a way to do it. A report bug other, fill in the field would have saved me about a half hour at this point. I am watching the rerun of critical role and the closed captions are gibberish. They work fine for the 7pm run and not the 12am run. It has been this way for atleast 3 weeks.
