Make it easier to get affiliate
Make it so that your followers can active an improvement - once every fortnight they can active a twelve-hour buff that puts you near the top of your category, but only if you don't have affiliate

Definitely, a struggle getting to the 3 average viewers! With hard work, you can totally get there! I am at a 2.5 and getting that last .5 is killing me! LOL!

I’m not gonna lie. Getting to 3 average viewers can be a real pain. Maybe more like 2.5 would be a good idea?

Hi I am a person with disabilities and I have set here for hours on end day after day trying to figure out how to become a twitch affiliate I've looked all over the Internet for clothes but all I can find is Ways to do so rather than the link to sign up

I have streamed for 130 hours in the past 3 months, and not that many viewers. I have been sitting at 0.5 average since the beginning. If Twitch changed the average to 10 days, it would make it exponentially easier for smaller streamers to get past that threshold. It also limits people who do longer streams and put more time into streaming.

It's kind of odd how everyone is complaining (?) I hit affiliate in a month.
I was grinding, had a schedule that I stuck to, brainstormed ideas for the stream, showed my face, talked etc.I don't think the problem is with the average of 3,i think it's with the people. You guys could ask your parents or 3 friends to just leave your stream open for the time that you stream.
I think the average of 3 should be raised to an average of 5 🤔 to sift through people that are serious about streaming and those who aren't

I understand the feeling, but doesn't it defeat the purpose of showing growth? I have 68 followers and about 1.25 to 2.67 viewers. We just have to keep grinding until we get there it cant just happen in couple months. it may take a year or so.

I think that this would help a lot of people making the push to reach affiliate, Especially those that clock up a lot of hours streaming in their spare time. More affiliates, more ads, more revenue? I think this would be win win for the team @ twitch aswell as help open some doors for the smaller/beginner streamers.

It's really not that hard, I got affiliate within like 2 weeks of dedicating my time to streaming. Just be consistent and keep up with trends and new ideas of what to stream and you'll get there!

for a new person like myself to stream with 1 viewer for hours just having fun, my ability to get affiliate because i have streamed for 80 hours with one viewer getting to 3 average viewers means I would have to get over 10 viewers to bring the average up within a 30 day period I wish it was based on viewers per stream rather then viewers per hour

I think it takes to long for small streamers to get affiliate, i think it should be about subs and not views cause smaller streamers only get an average of 0.9 instead of 3 so please lower it to 2 and the subs higher to 75 or something like that, pls.

Achieving Affiliate is becoming arguably impossible to achieve. I only say this because of how far I've come over time with no reward also having the only goal i want to complete being in arms reach for over a year now just to be teased with an average of 0.5 viewers for well over 6 months?! Number don't add up in my book and my audience says the same.

The dating has been a problem in terms of reaching affiliate due to opening an account but having technical issues out of my control, has only given me a 13-day window to do what every other aspiring affiliate has 30 days to do. I would like an opportunity at 30 days if possible.

i have had an average that went pass 3 viewers and had from 13 to 9 people watch and also commenting in my chat room has been over 12 people chatting. but twitch keeps saying only 7 people have been chatting out of 10 people and that is a lie. i really think twitch needs to fix it. and that has been over 30 days . i am now at 478hrs of gaming and i did way more hours then that. i should be at 490hrs. it is really something wrong going on with the achievements.

I feel like even once you meet most the criteria the calibration of counting and crushing numbers to become an affiliate see a bit over the top you could have multiple views one day concurring and the next day not as much so reaching that goal yes possible but yet not plausible for some trying to meet their mark I've been streaming longer than some with the same amount of views on a regular who met criteria and are affiliated yet somehow with standing at the current rate I'm at I'm still finding trouble in those views yet I network and have a huge supportive group who is always watching those number are crunched down to the bare minimum
