Getting reccomended streams i already follow on home page On the home page I very frequently get recommended 1 to 3 channels I already follow, these are the most valuable spots on the home page for discovery and I feel like I have no chance of discovery or being discovered if people are getting recommended channels they already follow. Mr. Clancy was on a live stream answering questions about discoverability on twitch, he mentioned that twitch doesn't focus on shoving constant new content in the viewers face which lends itself to long form content better. BUT you should be doing EVERYTHING in your power with what you DO have…

Category Sorting isnt as effective as it seems to be Hey Twitch Team, so i wanted to point out something i have been noticing in the analytics of Twitch, The AVG Live viewer count of "Just Chatting" Category is comparatively Way higher than any other specified game category which is starting to make me believe that the Twitch Algorithm is pushing out "Just Chatting" Category Live streams alot more than Specified Game category for small and Medium Streamers [ Some Large streamers seem to be using just chatting for the majority of their streams as well which does not help the situation]. Causing a weird Disceprency within the Algorithm. Just…

Discovery Shuffle I would like to suggest a new sorting option for the Browse page called "Discovery Shuffle." Currently, the default "High to Low" sorting method creates a "Directory Floor" where creators with fewer viewers are statistically unlikely to be discovered by organic desktop users. While the mobile Discovery Feed has helped, desktop and console viewers still struggle to find new "hidden gem" streamers. How it would function:
The "Discovery Shuffle" would be a selectable filter within game categories (e.g., God of War, Resident Evil) that periodically rotates the order of live channels. Instead of a static list based on viewer count,…1 vote -
Why do I get more Japanese viewers while streaming in English? Hi everyone,
I’m the developer of an AI VTuber who streams entirely in English. Sometimes, I join the streams as a co-host, but most of the time, the AI handles the show independently.
While the content is designed for an English-speaking audience, we’ve noticed that a large portion of viewers consistently come from Japan—even when the streams aren’t tied to Japanese games or culture.
Details about the streams:
- Language: English-only (titles, tags, descriptions, and interactions).
- Content: A mix of gaming (both Japanese and non-Japanese titles) and chatting streams.
- Schedule: Streams start at 12 PM JST (evening in the US, midnight…

Game Categories, Filtered by Platform Eg: PlayStation, Switch, PC, etc I want to be able to find gamers for the specific game, but only on a specific platform, eg PlayStation. How else are console gamers supposed to find, connect with and collab with the same platform of gamers in their favorite game?

voice color categories Hi, I'm a viewer, so it would be my need. I'm chasing certain kinds of voices and I don't really care about the content of a stream. I wish Twitch could develop a feature that can categorize streamers' voices and make a color card like table for me to sort the streamers by their voice color.
Plus, I might find some voice somewhere else, so I might need Twitch to provide an app or tool that can let me put in a voice sample(ex. a youtube clip or a voice file) then Twitch can give the voice a color label…

Ethereal Enigma (Visual Novel - PixelFade - Category) This was already a category previously, but has seemingly been replaced by another one of the same name. Even though the new one is a completely different company/game. It's confusing, and will only make it harder to get traffic to my streams for the game.
When I go to edit the vods, the only selectable one that shows up is for the newer game. Despite me entering the game exactly as it is for the visual novel game, and the category itself.

Prediction character limit should be higher Having a 45 letter limit for the prompt makes it so that creators have to shorten their prediction topic words for a lot of the times they run predictions. This, in my opinion, is unnecessary and the character limit should be increased.
