allows streamers to manually select their ingest server within the Twitch streaming settings
Dear Twitch Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to request the implementation of a feature that allows streamers to manually select their ingest server within the Twitch streaming settings. Currently, the automatic server selection does not always provide optimal performance, leading to issues such as drop frames and pixelation, especially for those streaming from locations with less optimal server connectivity.
Given that streamers experience varying network conditions and server loads, having the option to choose a specific ingest server could significantly improve stream stability and quality. This feature would allow us to select a server closer to our geographical location or one that is less congested, thereby enhancing the overall streaming experience.
If implementing this feature is not feasible, could you please provide information on how we can formally submit this request or if there is a dedicated contact center where such feedback can be addressed?
Thank you very much for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
