I ran ads at the 55% rate for my first month as affiliate and have noticed that I lose viewers much quicker than when I wasn't affiliate. I do not believe my content has gotten worse, I believe it is just less enjoyable to watch my stream with 3 1/2 minutes of ads per one hour of gameplay. I am reducing my ads now to the lowest possible rate because I would rather have a fun community chatting with me while I stream, than make a couple pennies more per day. And to be clear: that is literally all you are offering me, pennies a day, to risk losing out on chatters and new community members.

Amazon, the most profitable internet company on the planet, is pathetic for exploiting affiliates and their communities like this, imo.
