Twitch needs to be more proactive with their creators even those not partnered
I do not make any money streaming, I am a united states army veteran, i was a youtuber until a accident happened and i ended up in the hospital and then homeless for a few years. I finaly got back to a point where i can stream and such again, and now i find myself being targeted by music company's who apparently don't realize their is a such thing as law. So far i have been muted a number of times which at first i didn't care when it kept happening i realized it affects those that watch my videos, So i have appealed them all but it doesn't seem as TWITCH even looks at the charges or even reads them, As they never answer or do anything other than wait for months and then just let it lapse. Over half of the muted videos not only don't have the music in question in it. The tiny bit that do have the track mentioned is liscenced for the game for its use and only lasts 1-2 minutes, Yet everyone of these so called mutes are placed for exactly 6:30 each time with over half of that not having any of the music in it what so ever, cutting off crucial parts of the video. I don't use any external music, and usualy the games i play own the music and are free to use while playing the game, under consumer rights and various other license's. This is how i know Twitch does not take a appeal seriously, honestly i think i might go back to youtube and take everyone i brought to twitch as streamers with me. Because it doesn't seem right noneless lawful, If you host a service you should take care to make that service usable and fair for all of your users not just the users you make money off of, which happens to be every user. I placed the message here as i have no clue where else to go as it seems amazon and twitch of which i pay money too, has no real recourse for their creators.
