Video Producer uses too much memory.
I'm on Google Chrome. I open up my Video Producer, and according to Windows Task Manager, Chrome is starting at 346 MB of memory, which isn't bad. But then I add thumbnails to four of my videos, and now Chrome is using 1,130 MB of memory and is very laggy. Attempting to scroll through my videos is very jittery and attempting to click any option takes a few seconds.
I don't have to add thumbnails to cause this, either. The memory spike occurs just by attempting to edit video information.
For the record, my thumbnails don't use a lot of memory, either. They are .jpgs worth around 30 KB each.
This has been an issue since December or earlier. I mentioned this issue once before (in fact, I can still see my original posting), but nothing has been done about it thus far.
