SUPER MOD
So each streamer would be allowed to set one person in their stream "SUPER MOD" this person has more permissions than normal mods. For example the SUPER MOD would be allowed to mod and demod people from the stream. Another could be the "SUPER MOD" gets a different badge to make them stand out to the people in chat. Also maybe that super mod gets a permanent subscription for that channel. I'm sure there are alot more ways of making this a better idea that i just haven't though of however i think it would actually be a good thing to think about!

Letting the Admin, SuperMod, Editor, or all three, see the Stream Summary would be very good too! I am the primary mod for a friend's channel, and I do spreadsheets and such. But even with all the roles granted to me, I can't see the Stream summary, nor analytics page, even though those can't be edited anyway. Which means every single stream, we have to have a meeting where my friend verbally goes over all the details that I can't see. This is info that really should be available without having to give out your login info to someone else, or manually share every time.

Having 1 mod leader for each channel. The mod leader would be responsible for helping the other mods in answering any questions, making sure other moderators are doing their part in the correct fashion. You could give mod leaders a different color sword than the rest.

Can we have a "superior mod" that has controls to delete/timeout any non superior moderators messages or actions whilst the broadcasters are streaming ?
There are alot of troll moderators out there, that like to get away will alot things; (saying inappropriate things, banning people for the fun of it and also breaking TOS).
The broadcasters sometimes may miss messages. The broadcaster has to much to think about than having to sort out moderators.

This will be for streamers who need a little extra help moderating chat, these mods will be able to appoint mods, run ads and whatever else the streamer needs help with basically their right hand

This is a really cool idea. I really think you should do it! It'll be easier for the streamer to mod people without having to stop their stream at anytime if wanting to mod people during the stream. It also adds that extra layer of trust into that mod.

While I can see the Admin role, making this the editor role is definitely not the solution, the Editor doesnt have more power than a normal mod, it has different powers, you can have editors who cannot moderate chat, useful for artists etc working on the channel, and that shouldnt be lost.

Create a chat admin role which has moderation over the mods, basically the twitch editor role but with mod moderation features which can also remove mods and add as most streamers have a Admin above their moderators which do most of the work and with this structure would help streamers out alot more.
The role editor would be a good way of adding this feature as that role already has more power than a normal mod

With a head mod role, you can add moderators and vips to the channel.

There really isn't much a mod can do that another mod can't undo, unless you mean a mod saying or doing something that would get them timed out if they weren't a mod. But that is VERY rare in my experience, to the point of a streamer timing them out, which in turn revokes their sword.
To be fair though, editors are higher in the hierarchy than mods. Maybe worth adding to their responsibility, but a head mod would work too.

Fully support this idea. Being able to update panel information and setting up/changing the channel point rewards, modifying emotes/badges would be super useful. Other functionality that is now available for editor could move to the admin role as well (I'm thinking about the ability to modify the schedule).

Add a "Head Mod" role, So if a normal mod made a mistake, the Head mod can take care of it without the broadcaster stopping what their doing to stop what the normal mod did. You might think, "What Happens if the head mod does something bad" Well, the mod should be a very very trusted friend of the broadcaster, and from there, if the head mod Still does something bad, then the broadcaster does something about that, but there should be only 1 or 2 head mods. So the head mods can trade out service times, or just have 2 for extra head moderation.

I agree with this post 100%. I mod for a streamer who has stressed the need for a channel admin, since he has two channel points rewards that allow someone to be a mod or vip for one stream. But since there is no role that allows someone else to vip/mod someone, he has to stop what he's doing to do that. Another thing, is that having a channel admin is good, in case a mod goes rogue mode, or says/does something against channel rules.

While someone has already suggested a channel admin role, it would be nice if the proposed admin has more powers than just adding and removing mods.
I am the head mod, editor, and essentially personal streaming assistant for a streamer that streams for fun and has a very busy and important life when not streaming. Even though he cares very much about his community and his stream, minor tweaks to things like info panels, adding VIPs, curating the autohost list, adding and removing extensions, telling me how many sub points he has, and editing channel points rewards often fall to the wayside in favor of his IRL job, personal life, and other business.
Various streaming tools and bots already have an administrator role that allows an individual near-complete control over the primary account-holder's account. It would be nice if Twitch created an admin role that had full access to the streamer's account, including editing info panels, so that we could essentially help manage their channel without having to be signed into their account and use their name, or have access to the stream key.
Obviously, this would be a precious role and streamers would need to be warned that this person has the power to change almost everything about their account, but if the streamer doesn't want to grant these powers, there's still the editor role that has limited extra abilities. -
