What do you think of the Channel Page?

'Make Twitch Recap available on the web or at least give an option to resend it if you didn't get one' has been merged into this idea

Channel Page: Twitch Recap

Twitch Recaps should be added to our Dashboards

A lot of people look forward to seeing their twitch recaps but some people just don't look at their emails, never receive emails from Twitch, or they accidently delete the email. So it would be a good idea to have them somewhere on our dashboards so people can look at them even when emails fail.

Hey everyone! Super excited to share that recaps will not be in emails this year! You can head over to https://www.twitch.tv/recaps/annual to see Community, Viewer and Streamer recaps depending how you spent time on Twitch in 2022. Thanks so much for your feedback and please let us know any other feedback you have about Twitch Recaps!

Never got my recap. Can't ask a resend. Don't know nothing of where I spent dollars and dollars and dollars. We need to approach 2022, please listen to us.

You should be able to export your twitch recap from the app itself and not from an email. It doesn't make sense.

I agree! I had all my stuff turned on and got last years fine but never got this one in any folder

Punishing people for reducing spam in their life this way feels plain petty. It should have been sent as a notification within the app.

@WingMouse Personally I will keep my subscriptions but no more gifting subs or bits. I'll use Streamelements to tip.
In any case, I think streamers get more money when we use external platforms. Twitch gets a big cut.

I mean, they already have the code to compile the stats. How difficult must it be to add an extra button somewhere?
Btw, this seems like a way to get us to leave marketing emails on. Do they really think we will leave them enabled if we don't get the recap? There was a reason we disabled them in the first place.

it really should be available all the time on the twich dashboard all throughout the year for that specific year as well as an 'of all time' setting where you can just recap all your content uptake since you started

@dasnebbi: Great point! For viewers, the Dashboard isn't the best place for the viewer recap. Having a dedicated page is way better. You'll probably be interested in this suggestion: https://twitch.uservoice.com/forums/923383-creators-and-stream-features/suggestions/44573799-make-twitch-recap-available-on-the-web-or-at-least

Dashboard does seem to be the best location for the *streamer* recap.

    Any brains at twitch? ModCheck

definitley, something needs to be done about this, can't resend it manually, and it can't be seen via the dashboard, basically if you get it your lucky if you don't tough you have to put up with it. No wonder people are leaving twitch to go onto other platforms

Love how I magically got it the last few years, but I don't this year since "marketing emails" was supposedly off. Also funny how I got one as a streamer but not as a viewer...
  • dasnebbi commented  ·   ·  Report

Having read this multiple times on Twitter, I'd agree.

But the question would be: Dashboards? Really? There has to be a better place for that as I, as a viewer, really don't care about all the dashboards that are there for streamers. As a viewer, I got my starting page and notifications which could lead me to some dedicated Recap-Site, e.g. twitch.com/recap2021

Could live with that, but hidden in the dashboards could frustrate users even more.

Voted but it wont make a difference. They don't care and we all know it.

On top of that, only sending streamer recaps to streamers, and no viewer recaps? They have all the data, it's already tied to our username/account or they wouldn't be able to find it, it's pretty basic modular web design to make a thing that plugs in the current user, finds all that data, and displays it.
