A LOT of the issues ive run into with twitch and roles management is that theres such a poor amount of granularity between the moderator and editor roles.
Why is this a problem?
Consider that other platforms are more open to allowing a 'team' of streamers to add to a channel 'project'. the issue there is a lot of the 'streaming' side of things are locked behind editor roles, like raids, channel adverts etc...
If you play fast and loose with editor roles you also run the risk of having someone with those roles deleting your past broadcasts, which is a big issue as that is the sum of the hard work done on the channel as such.
twitch needs a contributor role. One that can contribute and can control the stream moment to moment but cannot cause irreparable damage to the channel beyond any stream they are broadcasting.

I really think Twitch should have addressed this a long time ago. as an editor you can really do too much with streamers that are not yet affiliated, you can adjust the BIO or profile picture yourself as an editor and you can host people raid

ich werde von anderen Streamer ausgegrenzt man das denn auch Twitch Herta damit durchgehen gereiften Frauen ausnutzen Twitch System gegen Zuschauer

Basically, Managers are able to access everything the streamer can other than, going live, obtaining the stream key, and seeing revenue.

And can do things like, moderate the moderators, edit panels and emotes, etc.

Any possible talks about adding a role above Mod, but below caster? So that way if the caster is streaming and they want to grant someone access to vip or mod, The role below caster has access to doing so?

AMIND ROLES

Or twitch can just make editor be able to do what broadcaster can do... either way both suit me... i just want them to add it already lol

Hi! One of the Ideas of mine I'd love to see implemented which would help a lot of mods/streamers. Starting out It'd really be nice if there were some changes made to the "editors" role and some new roles added to replace some of the "editor" role's current features. For example, it'd be really nice if there was a "Stream manager/adminstrator" role or even both implemented with different privileges. We need a role for Streamers where they're be able to assign people of their choosing (Generally Top mods) to #1, have more access to be able manage/edit the channel and #2, so they can elect one person to be in charge/override other moderators (specifically being able to delete moderators comments or temporarily revoke their powers).

Here's what I suggest, the current editor role doesn't quite make sense in my opinion. It gives more power than an editor should need, the Editor role should specifically be for editors and provide them tools to clip/highlight content and only that, they shouldn't have full access to the stream manager/creator dashboard.

Stream Manager role: I suggest Twitch implements a new role for Streamers to give out to their most trusted individuals that essentially gives full access to manage their channel! Starting out, those with the role will have complete access to the Creator dashboard and Ads manager. I'd also suggest giving them permission to see the stats in the creator dashboard (Ex. Being able to see the total amount of Ads ran that stream, etc). Permission to add/remove moderators and with that implementing a "Mod Timeout" feature to temporarily take away mod privileges, adding/removing VIP's, access to editing panels, and it'd be nice if they could see more usercard info (Total gifted subs/bits,ETC). This role should be able to assist in any area of the channel hence should have the same access/permission as all the other roles.

The Administrator role: Now for the administrator role I'd think of it as the "top mod/Moderator's boss". The Administrator role should have complete control over the channel moderators meaning they can add/remove or timeout/"temporarily" take away their mod privileges (Basically a mod timeout) . All ban appeals should have to go through the Administrators or they should have a history to reference to ensure they're being handled properly. I'd suggest giving Streamers the power to OPTIONALLY give Administrators access to the Ads manager as well.

Long story short the current roles we have either limit, or give too much power to certain individuals. We need more/new roles with different permissions.

I think this should be considered. Maybe make it so you can change permissions aswel: Mods for example.

I definitely think that Admin would be a great role. I feel as if this role should get a lot more access to the channel dashboard then the current editor role.

channel admins would be like a moderator but with more abilities, some streamers might use it in a way where the admin(s) run the channel mods so the streamer can focus on streaming and not on a mod asking if they want to ban or timeout a user.

I want some new ranks on my stream, i like to have admin and supporter. I really hope you guys will look in my idea.
