Adds Bugging Out Make Twitch Unusable. When encountering an add while watching stream the video will close itself immediately and you will be back on the previous page (like closing the stream manually). Then every time you try to go into that stream or a new stream an add will show for half a second then close the stream again. This continues for some time even after closing Twitch and reloading it. I have to spam open streams until it finally decides to work.
Thought maybe the bug lasted for the length of the add but it has recently and continuously taken over 3 minutes on…3 votes -
preroll ads abuse are you all actually aware that preroll ads can easy be abused to generate ad watches all day long?
since there is no option for reporting bugs in the contact support formular, i've to write that here
i also already reported the issue that makes this abuse possible in multiple ways but it gets only worse:
if you get an preroll ad, let the ad run, then press pause and play in the twitch player or refresh the page to get rid of the stream delay caused by that preroll ad, and you will just get another preroll addso…

Ads visual bug I'm experiencing a weird bug about ads both on the pc and on the Twitch app. Basically the advertising starts but i can only hear that and the livestream keeps going overlapping its audio. This lasts only for a couple of seconds and after that the ad stops. This tho makes it so the browser doesn't recognize an ad has been played and keeps doing this every few minutes. Bug when watching stream There seems to be an issue with ads. When I'm watching a stream Twitch shows way too many ads, like it's way too many more than shown on tv, way more ads than any marketing expert would advice you to show, way too many ads than any person with common sense would want too see. Not only there are too many, they are long af. I will change platform before you force me to pay because the streams are unwatchable for how many ads you put. Jesus!! chill with the f ads!!

adds and error 2000 error 2000 ,i dont have any add blocker,and i get bombarded with adds and closing stream with error 2000 EVEN when i am watching as a sub.i dont know what you guys did last 2 weeks but you need to fix this.this is very irritating.i get like 10 min of adds and sometime more per hour.not joking.

Remove Mandatory Starting Ads with Account Moderators that are also Subscribers. As a Moderator for a large channel, and a Subscriber to that channel, I am FORCED to watch Ads even when in Moderator View. While waiting for the ads, chat is not being moderated because of these ads. This completely removed Moderator powers from a channel. FIX ASAP Please!!!

Ads bugged? I have had only one ad (Pandora me) for the past week. Ive heard it so many times it literally getting to the point where I do not want to even open this app. Please fix this I cannot listen to that ad one more time its hurting my brain. Just give me a different ad. I do not want pandora.

CAC login issues with Ads I use a Common Access Card(CAC) for work. For those that don't know what it is, it is a government ID for government employees, contractors, and militants. Over the last week, there have been three instances where entire streams have stopped working because some ads cause a CAC login screen to popup. This is a very big security issue as these ads could possibly cause individuals DODIDs to be exposed by accident. I don't know if any other people are having this issue but, it happens.

when an ad plays, another ad plays in the window for the stream its only happened a couple of times, but when an ad plays, the smaller window that opens in the top left above chat for the stream just plays another ad

ad audio inconsistent ads are volume ramping to play louder. that's first of all intrusive. you gotta keep the volume down. i let it play and mute the speakers, but you should not shoehorn the ******* **** out of this ad business.
the real issue is it creates undesired volume peaks when switching back the streamers audio.
can you ******* code properly? this is just annoying to watch the industry go haywire and ruin everything for the cash grab. smdh

wrong captions Twitch people. Your AI bros are ripping you and having AI run on all ads you have to then caption them. They even know that AD doesn't have dialogue and then it writes a CAPTION : '' Captions not needed : There is no dialogue." and that is on the screen the entire ad break
Second thing is that after trying to find how to create an idea in this super counterintuitive forum I try to message live chat since I have benefit of being able to do it and I am met with a AI bot that clearly…

Ad volume resets when a new ad loads What causes the situation: Ads load. Currently have only tested it in a situation with several ads back to back.
What I expect to happen: If the stream volume is set low (ex. 20%), the volume of ads will match the volume on the volume slider.
What actually happens: Whenever a new ad loads, it will initially play at 100% volume regardless of where the slider is set. Jiggling the slider will make the ad play at the correct volume setting, but when a new ad loads it defaults back to 100%, still ignoring the slider's actual value until jiggled…

Fix the VOD bug where it resets your progress when an ad instantly plays. People have been complaining on these forums about this for over 5 years now, please fix it.
If you watched some of a stream the night before and want to continue watching the day after an ad instantly plays and you lose your timestamp. This is a major issue for long form content that can span 5-10 hours easily.

Fix the twitch chat verified account settings After twitch's recent update, verification settings have not been working properly. people have shown me their ''verified accounts only'' setting and its clearly turned ''off'', yet when they stream, it shows that its ''on'' in chat. And even when the chat actually does show it's turned off, people are still being asked to verify their account. I know this is a bug because I was able to bypass it by using the ''highlight my comment'' channel point redeem most have, and my comment went through even though I didn't verify with a phone number like it kept prompting me to.…
