Stop Running Transphobic Ads On Trans People's Channels
I'm a trans person, and I keep getting ads on MY channel promoting giving money to someone who despises my existance. Someone using her vast amount of wealth, influence, and power to make us trans people feel unsafe just being alive, and insulting/lying about us online to stir the pot and create a toxic and violent environment for us to exist. I do not want these ads being shown to MY audience that was built on MY content. This platform promotes wanting diversity and inclusion, yet we keep getting ads like this shown on our accounts without our consent. Give us the freedom to chose what ads can play on our accounts to prevent this type of thing from happening. Thanks.

If you're gonna do this, at least let people approve what ads they'd want viewed by their audience. If anything, add a filter! Shameless sex ads/Gambling? Uncheck that. Movie/Show trailers? Uncheck the box. Game ads? Check that. Separate them by genre- you wanna see MMORPGs? Cozy games? FPS? Yes, yes, no.
The technology exists, but you'd rather follow the money than the morals, huh? Understandable, but also understand you'll be stuck selling out to people with low to no empathy for those who see it. And no one's going to want to watch them.
Just give me back the chipotle ads.

Okay, sure, the ****** wizard author gets you a ton of ad money. But you know what also gets you money, Twitch? The tons of trans streamers and viewers that use your site! Consider catering to them for once and stopping the Harry Potter ads. Or at the bare minimum let streamers choose what ads they can show. Forcing transphobic ads into trans streams is cruel and unusual.

The ideal thing would be for Twitch to simply disallow ads for people like JK Rowling and Trump across the entire platform, but the absolute bare minimum solution is to allow people to control what ads are played on their channels. I don't need or want people seeing ads for Harry Potter or the orange man's fearmongering about fentanyl on my channel. As someone who's married to a disabled military veteran and knows how badly the military destroys people, I also do not want military propaganda ads playing on my channel either, thanks.

Ideally I'd like to not see transphobic ads anywhere but this at least feels like a bare minimum...

If you want more people to use this platform, make it more inclusive. That includes trans people, Twitch.
Stop running transphobic ads. Trust me, you don’t want that image.

Twitch/Amazon, I know the most profitable thing is to keep people angry and hurt as much as possible for clicks and views, but honestly it's just cruel.

It's absolutely wild that a platform that is suppose to promote a "safe space" for inclusive & marginalized communities is actively running ads to promote someone's transphobic platform and rhetoric.
Do better Twitch.

Ad's for people who literally view Trans folk as something disgusting they stepped in do not belong on twitch at all. I do not want those ad's on my channel or on twitch at all! Show some ******* compassion and bin those ad's.

I tried reporting the HP ads, while they were actively running, only to have Twitch "encounter an error" EVERY time... Never had issues reporting problematic ads before this, so I'm disinclined to believe this is an actual error occuring repeatedly.
Do better, Twitch, and stop funding a bigot's hate.

Yall need to seriously reconsider what ads you run on this site. So much of it is actively harmful to protected groups. Show us that you ****** care and do something about it.

The amount of times that Harry Potter ads have run on my friends' channels, all of them being transgender or otherwise queer, is sickening and this needs to stop. JKR has proven that she will go to any length to make sure that we are continually oppressed, abused, and stripped of our human rights. Money that lands in her hands is money that will go towards funding our eradication.
Twitch needs to do better.

Twitch please listen to trans creators when they tell you that your ads are enforcing transphobia, thanks

This is disgusting. Transphobic Ads should not exist; they only exist to
make trans people's lives harder, and people who support these ads and Transphobia should be ashamed of themselves. -

Transphobia does not belong on Twitch, period. Not even in advertising or funding.
The promotion of pushing money to one of the most-powerful bigots living right now, JK Rowling, is a distinct lack of empathy and care from Twitch to its Queer communities altogether. This is atrocious and violates even your own Terms of Service where bigotry is forbidden. Cease and desist the promotion of JK Rowling.

Transphobic ads don't need to be on Twitch, period. The fact that those ads are on here is a monumental failure on Twitch's part. If it has any connection to someone who's spreading hate, for anyone, it doesn't belong! Tolerating ads is a chore already. A choice on ads, that don't dehumanize or negatively target minorities in any way, would be appreciated. Thank you.
Another thing, JK Rowling HATES trans people. She wants them dead & gone. It's not a secret. Harry Potter is her IP, & it makes her money, which she will use to harm trans people. Maybe reconsider allowing content related to her on this platform.

The fact that I get punished for adult conversations, by having lowered ad revenue, but I see advertisements for erectile dysfunction products, on family friendly channels, is very frustrating. And this is without them play Transphobic ads on Trans creator's channels, which is a whole other level of ghoulish. Or ads for religious institutions that prohibit homosexuals. If they get to decide they don't want to be advertised on our channel, we should get the opportunity to decide who we advertise during our forced ad breaks.
