Generative AI does not help the average streamer in any way whatsoever. Streaming is a creative endeavor. GenAI's entire purpose at this point is to replace said creativity with regurgitated slop. If you implement this you WILL lose streamers. You WILL lose users. And most importantly to you, you WILL LOSE MONEY.
At bare minimum make genAI features optional and opt-out. Preferably do not implement these features AT ALL. For both your sake and the sake of your users. Otherwise you will lose money. That's not a threat. That's a fact.JessaDragonfly

Okay, sure, the ****** wizard author gets you a ton of ad money. But you know what also gets you money, Twitch? The tons of trans streamers and viewers that use your site! Consider catering to them for once and stopping the Harry Potter ads. Or at the bare minimum let streamers choose what ads they can show. Forcing transphobic ads into trans streams is cruel and unusual.

Really Twitch? I can’t say I’m surprised, just disappointed.
AI ‘art’ is built on the theft of works from artists everywhere. Do you really want to drive creators off of your platform? Cuz this is how you do it. And it’s not a good look for you.

The clarification does little to nothing. The wording is still incredibly vague and will still be used by bad actors to falsely report and harass minorities and other vulnerable communities. It also doesn’t change the fact that gender, race, and sexuality are not sensitive social issues. Remove the fifth bullet point.

This experiment is now closed as the new mobile redesign is rolling out to all users. Thank you for all your feedback during the experiment. We released an update to respect your autoplay settings in the feed, muted the feed on open by default (you can adjust this in your settings), and added mute functionality directly to the feed to give you more control over your viewing experience. We also enabled PIP over feed and have been continuing to improve app performance since launch. You're entire platform is based on creators. GenAI cannot create anything stream worth watching. Y'all are actively digging your own grave with this decision. Cancel it and save yourselves several metric tons of headaches.
