I think the app DID need modernization, but sadly, this update has felt more like just copying TikTok's homework. But it has a lot of bugs and weird quirks. It doesn't feel like where you go to watch a 4-hour stream anymore. Sad. Very sad time.

The new UI design is complete ***. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the UI in the first place.
Might as well change your name from "Twitch" to "TwitchTok"
Its so bad that I've uninstalled the app.

Please revert to the old UI or at least give us the option to toggle between.

It’s honestly impressive how incrementally worse this app gets. First they got rid of the full screen chat window when using chat only. Then the app started freezing when predictions were posted after they added Clips. Now they’re mimicking the TikTok interface at the cost of UX. TV and PS4 apps no longer allow chatting. Twitch will end up being a case study in how to ruin a good product.

made half the app geniunly unusable for no reason

Twitch app didn't get any proper updates for what feels like a decade, then you do this and it's SO far from what's needed/wanted by anyone who uses the app. I've not seen a company so far out of touch with their user base as Twitch has become.

Please revert this **** it’s unusable and was clearly designed by a blind 75 year old who has never used the product before
