Twitch has been running ads for ICE (United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement), an enforcement agency which already had a long history of significant unjust behavior under the Homeland Security act, and has outright become the direct enforcement arm of a fascist, xenophobic regime in the United States.

ICE has made it undeniably, crystal clear that it is immoral, unjust, and brutal, terrorizing residents and communities and stripping them of their rights and personhood. Twitch, by allowing ICE advertisements on your platform, you are saying you're complicit in ICE's actions and willing to take their money to further their racist messages and campaigns of harm, hatred, and fear. Streamers who stand against ICE are having their streams interrupted with messages promoting it; viewers who are unaware that streamers have absolutely no control over the contents of the ads that appear on their streams are getting upset at streamers for seeing these ads to begin with.

These ads are a clear violation of the policies that Twitch supposedly upholds.

Twitch insists that "political and debated issues" be labeled. I don't think it's up for debate; it's obvous that a fascist agency terrorizing a country's people is reprehensible, though Twitch would consider it a "sensitive social issue". Yet it's allowed to run in ads.

Dan Clancy has said "There is no place on Twitch for racism, hatred, or harassment of any kind, incuding antisemitism and Islamophobia." Again, an agency that operates expressly on racism and hatred should not have a place on Twitch, yet it's being allowed in advertising.

I'm going to say it again: By allowing a racist, hateful organization to run ads on your platform, you've clearly broken your own standards. Or, to a business-focused standpoint, you have been damaging, and continue to damage, the trust between streamers, viewers, and Twitch.

If there's anyone there at Twitch with a soul, take a stand and put a stop to these ads immediately.
