Enable streamers to control ads for VODs Currently, Twitch themselves control when and where the ads appear in VOD's. The issue with that is that Twitch doesn't know where is the appropriate place to place said ads. It should be left to the user, as they can more appropriately place them, as to not disrupt the flow. Just tell the user how many ads and they can place them.

Audio Ad Alert We could have either an API that sends a signal for when an ad is about to be played or an option on the Stream Manager that plays something when an ad is about to play.
So at least the streamer is aware of when to pause the game to do a bathroom break or not go in an critical part and make the viewers lose it because of an ad.
That would help some of us with selective focus and don't have 2 monitors to keep track of the ads in a full screen game.

Actually run the ads when the streamer runs them instead of running them later and interrupting the stream Recently, I've been having issues where a streamer runs 2 or 3 minutes of ads while taking a scheduled break and Twitch only shows me 15 seconds of ads or none at all during that time, but then, less than an hour later, the stream is getting interrupted by ads that the streamer is clearly not aware of. He actually makes the effort to keep the ads from ruining the experience for his viewers while trying to avoid pre-rolls for new viewers. However, lately Twitch has been running mid-roll ads at random times and not when the streamer actually runs…

Don't show me specific ads that I don't want. For a while now, I have been exposed to excessive advertisements of "Eti", a snack brand in Turkey, and "Cigdemt", a streamer who cannot speak Turkish. I have no problem with watching ads. But Eti with Cigdemt advertisements are shown too much, too aggressive. This is giving me an overdose.
That's why I installed adblocker. I didn't see any problems with watching ads before.
Don't show us ads we don't want to see...

Incentive program does not show estimated value since January 2023. Hello everything is fine ?
Let's go, in 2022 I joined the Twitch ad incentive program.
At that time, until December 2022, the panel showed an estimate of how much I would earn.
However, since January 2023, the value only for minutes no longer appears.
I've been a Twitch streamer for a long time + 6 years, I talked to other partner friends and theirs show the estimate and in my case it doesn't show more than 1 year.I tried Twitch BR support and they said they didn't have access to this tool and sent me to this website.

Add a public API endpoint that allows me to listen for add calls I would like the ability to get the information from the timer or from the ad call itself to know when an ad is going to play soon, and more importantly, when an ad is going to play for sure and how long it is going to play.

Custom ads For people with sponsorships, they can set custom ads for their sponsored product so they can play them during ad breaks to rake in extra customers at the cost of a fee depending on how often they want to play the custom ads

Ad Viewers It is frustrating to have a conversation with someone when an ad pops up. Have an individual, or aggregate count of viewers whom are watching an ad.

Fix ad manager resetting after a disconnect When a stream disconnects and then reconnects, the ads manager resets. Sometimes streams disconnect multiple times and the ads manager resets and ads play after the designated ad start time that is set.
It would be great if there was a cooldown for starting the ads manager over again after a disconnect. During a disconnect, the ads manager should continue from where it left off before the disconnect.

Option to run ads for longer times Currently the max you can run with one button press is three minutes (one hour of no pre-rolls). Allow us to increase that to whatever we want, for example I would like 6 minutes of ads (2 hours of no pre-rolls).

ads are annoying please implement them better I missed so many very important moments while watching bc of 2-3 min long unskippable ads that covered the whole screen. I rarely watch twitch anymore bc the ads are super annoying and block content so that I miss important moments in peoples streams. I think it would be nice if there was a skip button of some sort so people can continue to enjoy the streams and not like a min in jus like 5-10 sec ads PLEASE.

Reduce number of adds. Amazing how ad-centric the site now is. I end up just closing the window or opening a new streaming service when I feel they become overwhelming. Add more picture in picture options.

Let us trigger when ads are shown I stream sports so there are some stops each now and then that could be filled with ads and no complain if only we could trigger them at the right times and right duration.
I stream rink hockey. Ball is so small that Stream Display Ads during game play are also ineffective as video is resized.
Standard ads and Stream Display Ads would be great if only shown during game stops.2 votes -
Ads delay Here’s a suggestion, guys…if we could code the ad algorithm to delay during top ten situations that would be great. So frustrating! I watch PUBG and don’t mind sitting thru the ads.
