   i was just involved in a dispute, in Twitch Moderators Club, which i might lose because of popular culture. i said, "i have a feeling that i know what's about to be said to me, and i have one question [for now]: ..." which indicates both that i am already actively listening to the person who is typing and that i am willing to hear what they are about to post. popular culture thinks a different way, so i am currently made out to be condescending and cruel. i would like to be welcome to defend myself, not to be gossiped about amongst however many on that club's Moderation Team then Banned because it's decided that there is no defense for my wrongly perceived behaviour.

   to be fair, i could have presented the certain question a different way--and that post might have not sparked the cascade.

   on the other hand, the other two people involved in the dispute had superimposed a pre-drawn narrative onto any given thing that i had said or might have said--and it is that narrative which upset them and prompted them to approach me with hostility. {if the narrative was exposed in no other way} one of them tried to quote me and they failed to, except that they are convinced that they quoted me spot-on.

3. Stop the automatic clip 2 seconds earlier so "Twitch clip it" isn't in the clip.

   As the title says. When you say Twitch, Clip it, a clip is created. However, it also has the words when you say to clip it.

   The issue comes from when you play clips on your stream. Because "Twitch Clip it" is in the clip you end up with a clip of that clip, and so on and so on.

   By ending the recording a few seconds earlier we can avoid having "Twitch Clip it" being said in the clip.

4. Send a warning email before a partner/staff claim can occur

   I understand Twitch wanting to give inactive usernames to partners (though I think they should release them to general users as well), but there should definitely be some warning notification or reminder sent out to an account owner when it becomes eligible for a partner claim. It seems to be the same 1 year requirement that Twitch had prior to changing their username policy, but there is no documentation suggesting that users log into their account once a year to prevent their name from being transferred since the username policy update in 2024. I do not understand why they don't just state that an account not logged into a year can have its name transferred to a partner instead of "hiding" this behind impersonation/trademarking. It's a very deceiving policy, especially when Twitch claims they no longer "release" inactive usernames. There have been multiple cases (such as with the user /glocc) where an active user has had their username taken away by partner support either by negligence or just them not knowing they were deemed as inactive. A user with an active, paid Turbo subscription (that isn't one of the few lifetime ones that staff get) shouldn't be classified as inactive in the first place. Also there should definitely be some sort of compensation if someone has their username transferred to a partner instead of their case being closed and ignored. A manual name change due to the forced cooldown would be logical.

6. Enforce stricter rules on Twitch for streamer misconduct

   The Issue
   I've been a victim of inappropriate behavior on Twitch, where a streamer known as PrincessChurro engaged in acts that include threatening users, filing false reports to the FBI's cyber crime center, and even hiring an attorney to pursue criminal charges. She was involved in substance abuse while streaming and used her platform to intimidate viewers, including me. Moreover, she hacked into my personal identifiable information (PII) and exploited it during her streams and other platforms, making claims about knowing everything about me through doxxing.

   Such actions aren't just harmful to individuals but create a toxic environment on Twitch, which is supposed to be a safe platform for gamers, streamers, and audiences to connect and share. It's crucial for Twitch to establish stricter guidelines and swiftly intervene when a streamer engages in behaviors that breach the community standards or violate personal privacy.

   In addition to Twitch enforcing stricter rules, there is a pressing need for a legal framework that punishes such acts severely. I propose legislation that enacts fines up to $325,000, three years imprisonment, and permanent bans from streaming platforms for those found guilty of these malicious activities. This will serve as both punishment and deterrence, fostering a safer online environment.

   Please join me in urging Twitch to take action against such misconduct and advocate for legal measures to prevent recurrence. Sign the petition to ensure no one else has to endure what I went through.

    J'ai malheureusement rencontré un problème en voulant changer mon pseudo : je me suis trompée et j'ai validé un autre pseudo que celui que je souhaitais.

    Je comprends tout à fait que vous ne souhaitiez pas forcément réduire le délai de deux mois entre chaque changement de pseudo. En revanche, peut-être pourriez-vous envisager la mise en place d'un système permettant aux utilisateurs de se rétracter pendant les 24 heures suivant la modification, afin de confirmer définitivement leur choix.

    Deux mois représentent un délai très long lorsqu'il s'agit d'une simple erreur de manipulation. Pour une personne qui souhaite se lancer sur Twitch, une telle erreur peut retarder son projet ou l'obliger à commencer avec un pseudo qui ne lui correspond pas.

    Je pense qu'un court délai de rétractation permettrait d'éviter ce type de situation tout en conservant les protections apportées par votre système actuel.

    At the moment, an extremely common problem, according to my observations (not only on Twitch, but also on many other services), is that many users, for various reasons, are unable to receive an SMS message with a verification code to their phone number. Why not add an alternative way to receive this code, such as asking the bot to call you and dictate the code? 13. Auto resize bit badges and emote badges

    Twitch, please bring the auto-resize feature to sub and bit badges.

    Uploading badges right now is incredibly exhausting and tedious. Having to manually export and upload three different sizes (72x72, 36x36, 18x18) for every single tier is ridiculous.

    If someone has 12 sub badges plus bit tiers, that’s easily 48+ individual files they have to sit there and upload one by one!

    We have the auto-resize feature for emotes, so why are badges still stuck in the past?

    Manually managing this many files is a headache and a total waste of time. Letting us just upload one high-res file and having Twitch auto-scale it would save streamers so much time and energy during brand overhauls.

    Please give us this update. It is way overdue!

    the shared ban is amazing but i think its useless if its not auto banning the ppl that r banned for my mutuals i had to deal with alot of people that get banned from my mutuals channels and come harass me and them in my chat so it wuld be better if the shared ban not only shares the reason they should be banned but also ban them and give the choice to unban because u won't share ban unless u trust these people and agree with them on who is allowed and who is not allowed in ur chat

20. Chat won't message

    I have a problem my chat message won't show up unexpectedly and the others like redeemed and bits are working fine except my chat message said your message sent checked by the mods and it is not sent. It is kinda weird for me and I tried to fix it or contact support but none of them are working because something odd on twitch is going on from my chat message that I sent it. Can it happen to affect my account has been compromised or someone hack it on chat message?
