2. fix the phone verification bug

   I found a bug and I will explain my story[I was on twitch a day before this happened and I was looking through streams just having fun watching different streams and none of them required my Phone number to chat because I had already verified my E-mail so I went to sleep and the next day every single stream I clicked on I clicked on a ton of streams to make sure but they ALL required a verified account to chat and I want this bug fixed ASAP because I very much enjoy talking to all of the cool streamers in chat

3. Auto Block someone when they are banned from your channel

   Please make it a feature that when someone's account is banned from your channel on twitch that it also blocks them to prevent whispers. I had some friends who were harassed by someone we banned on their channels in whispers because banning them doesn't block them and they didn't know that

4. Stories. Cannot remove on desktop. Romove them all together. Sheesh.

   Recently I became affiliate. This unlocks "stories" which is a copied "feature" from other social medias. Nobody likes stories. Yet you twitch, YOU have forced me to post stories.
   "You can disable automatic stories upload by deselecting the "feature clips" checkbox."

   So the thing I like to use, featured clips, to show off cool moments, is now being forcibly hijacked into this social media trend people markedly hate. There are multiple browser extensions just to remove stories from our audience's interface. You are now forcing me to manually feature each clip, or delete every story you decide needs to get uploaded simply by featuring a clip.

   I say I MUST delete stories because of the evidence of commentors on the stories feature within this uservoice forum.

   :when streamers raid into people that use stories and when you go to refresh the stream get kicked into their story instead of refreshing their actual stream.

   :Agreed, my solution is to unfollow any channels that post stories. I don't care about stories and don't want additional clutter on the left navigation.

   : I Just use AdBlock, you can disable elements with it.
   I was able to DELETE that annoying stories banners on the left and on the big follow page.
   Not really smart to not have the option to show it or not.

   Stories are an ACTIVE HINDRANCE to growing twitch channels. Furthermore, I cannot remove stories from my desktop computer. You have forced me to use the mobile app to delete the stories that automatically fill into my feed when I feature a clip. I personally cannot intentionally block a story upload, and my audience cannot intentionally avoid seeing them through normal usage of the twitch website.
   It's as if you want us to use this feature so badly, you've hard coded it to be as annoying as possible to remove.

   FIX THIS. Your investors know nothing about live streaming.

5. Watch Streak Bug

   It's not the first time I've seen this, but it's worth mentioning. It happens that some people I know have had their streak bugged for some reason. In what sense? Well, they get into the stream, long time after it started and at the end, that stream doesn't count towards their streak and they get a notification that they need to recover their streak, when they were watching the entire stream from start to finish. Just need it why this happens and to be solved.

6. Technician Role

   Being a moderator comes with powers and responsibilities that are not suitable for everyone who is a member of staff, and yet being a VIP is often too restrictive and a role that is in short supply. No ability to run polls or predictions. No ability to make announcements, etc. No visibility that this is an individual that is trusted to answer questions on behalf of the channel. Editor has its own set of powers, permissions and responsibilities, which partially overlap moderators, but which again is not particularly suitable for an active support role in a live channel.

   Most of what a broadcaster needs mods for, is not about policing the community, it's about keeping the community informed and entertained. And it would be really helpful to have a staff hierarchy that reflects this.

   I used to play an MMO that has community assistants below community moderators, lead moderators, game masters and the lead GM. CAs mostly interpret the wiki with years of experience playing the game and can tell you if something is a feature or a bug. And GMs are who you call if there IS a bug.

   While there is a lot of stuff that can be preprogrammed to be automated with various bot softwares, the broadcaster still either has to run the commands themselves or give someone full moderation powers over the community. And frankly, the best technical experts often don't have the greatest social skills.

   Please allow us options to trust our team members without burdening them with too much power over others. Or conversely, too many responsibilities to entertain or inform when they are trusted to police an entire community.

   I feel that having techs would fulfil this need.

   Hello Twitchers

   My idea is simple to use disabling bot before there can post anything.

   With the help of current technology, it has become possible in recent months to create bots, fake accounts, and similar non-human accounts and attack streamers.

   My idea to limit this is very simple.

   All Twitch accounts must verify their person with a valid ID.

   Acceptable IDs:

   • National ID card
   • Passport
   • Credit Card

   One Person One Account
   Bots are not real

10. Choosing to block gambling should block stock trading and cryptocurrency trading.

    Despite the fact I have gambling set as a blocked content category, Twitch displayed the Stocks & Crypto collection at the very top of my front page. This should definitely not happen.

    Twitch data reports are great but they do feel unnecessarily limiting. It would be great it we could get more information from data reports aside from what is currently available.

    Some examples include:
    - Whispers history
    - Channel Analytics
    - Channels you are VIP/mod
    - Channel Activity (stream title changes/etc.)
    - Twitch team information
    - Mod comments you've made
    - Channel points you've earned
    - Charity events you've created/managed

    I’d like to suggest a new security feature for the Twitch mobile/desktop app: the ability to require a PIN code or fingerprint/Face ID unlock before opening the app.

    This would:

    • Improve privacy and security for streamers and viewers.

    • Prevent unauthorized access if the device is shared or lost.

    • Enhance overall user confidence in using the Twitch app safely.

    certain streamers who have big number (twitch's favorite) like lacy or stableronaldo love to mock or use the R slur and seemingly twitch doesn't wish to take action against such creators but using one slur means they could or would use any slur, some people already use thug as a derogatory word for a black person in place of using the n word because they know they would definitely get banned for a couple days for saying that word but no the r word for some reason?

16. Volume control suggestion for new streamers

    The baseline for volume should be represented as the volume of an advertisement.

    Twitch streamers voice if they want to be heard clearly should probably be at that volume. I've watched so many new streamers who are whisper compared to the ad volume.
    
    A feature that helps them understand that would be nice

17. Can we please have a more optimized system for account linking?

    I've been trying to earn BF6 rewards from watching streams, but I initially didn't have my account connected. I've connected my Twitch to my EA account, but even though EA doesn't show an issue, it's like Twitch isn't reading the updated connection. I've restarted my phone and the app, I've signed in and out of both accounts and no dice.

19. The "Don't Show Again" button for the "Earn renown for sharing viral clips!" highlight is completely broken.

    The banner/highlight notification titled "Earn renown for sharing viral clips!" continues to appear despite me repeatedly selecting the "Don't Show Again" option.

    This button is completely non-functional. The highlight re-appears frequently, disrupting the chat area and forcing users to engage in a repetitive and useless action.

    If you integrate a "Don't Show Again" feature into the user interface, it must work as intended. When it fails to do so, it indicates a severe disregard for user experience and directly leads to customer frustration.

20. display Name Feature Needs an Update or Removal

    The display name system on Twitch feels outdated and confusing. Right now, it only allows capitalization changes, which doesn’t offer any real customization. For most users, this option just causes frustration — it looks like you should be able to change your name, but you can’t actually modify anything besides letter case.

    If the feature exists only for capitalization, it might make more sense to either:

    Integrate capitalization control directly into the username settings, or

    Expand the display name feature to allow full customization (like how other platforms handle “display names” separately from usernames).

    In short: the current implementation serves little purpose and could be improved or streamlined for clarity and usefulness.
