Die neue "Neue Clips-Entdecken-Oberflächen" über den eigenen Kanälen ist viel zu groß auf Tablet im Querformat und nervt dadurch. Diese neue Oberfläche im Querformat an die Größe der eigenen Kanäle anpassen. So ist das Bild der Clips nur nervig groß, ich will meine eigenen Kanäle sehen, wenn ich auf "du folgst" klicke und nicht irgendwelche Clips. Am Besten wäre natürlich, wenn man das in den Einstellungen abwählen könnte, so kanns jeder machen, wie er will.

More options for mobile chat overlay I like the new chat overlay when using the app on iOS in landscape mode, however, it needs more options to improve usability.
Currently, only the last message is displayed and disappears within 3 seconds. This means I need to be constantly watching to catch what is said, which is not how I tend to use Twitch on mobile.
Including three additional settings options would lead to more flexible usability:
1) Number of chat messages and/or lines of chat to be displayed simultaneously
2) Length of time messages are displayed before disappearing, with the option to have them not disappear…6 votes -
cannot cast to device before ads complete The pre-roll ads interrupt the ability to cast to another device; it's annoying to click on a stream, go to click to cast button, but get interrupted by at least 15 seconds of ads (but sometimes much longer!). I can only cast to my smart tv after the ads finish.

Basic VOD management on mobile Please allow me to publish/unpublish recent VODs from the mobile app's Create mode (say, in the Content tab, or corresponding stream summary).

To fix: PIP on iPad pauses from time to time (bug) Hello. About 3 months ago the app on iPad started to pause the video while on PIP from time to time with no apparent correlation with other apps our behaviors. Sometimes it starts pausing after ~1h of exclusive PIP playback; sometimes it starts pausing after the playback is interrupted by other sound playback, and after that it keeps pausing.
In all cases, the user needs to press play again everytime it pauses - sometimes more than 30 times per hour.

Make video player take up less space Make video player take up less space on iOS & iPadOS. Currently trying to scrub through Vods is insanely infuriating due to the video player taking up 2/3 of the screen, of course it less worse on iPad, but still far away from good. A easy solution would be to hide the bottom three buttons.

Allow people to subscribe in Tier 2 or Tier 3 on Mobile About 50 to 60% of the people that watch other streamers on Twitch do so VIA Mobile. I notice on Mobile though when going to Subscribe you can only do that in only Tier 1. You should give mobile the options for viewers to choose either a Tier 2 or Tier 3 subscription. I had alot of my viewers that want to do that but they was unable to because they watch via mobile.

Fix Android App Battery Drain When Chromecasting Devices Tested:

Ever since the latest Twitch App update on Android, the battery drains when Chromecasting to a TV, as if the stream is playing full-screen on the phone. In a test, the battery on my Pixel 6 drained from 100% to 10% in one hour, with the Twitch App accounting for 99% of the usage, despite video playback being on a TV and the phone being in sleep mode.

True black mode New iphones have the option of partially switching off their screen lighting if there is a true black tone (#000000). There should be an option to enable a true black mode in the settings. This saves battery and brings better performance.

More robust stream manager on mobile Since I play on my couch (and only have one monitor) I'd like to have the functionality of the desktop stream manager on my mobile device. Essentially, I'd like to be able to raid channels, see the ad timer, and so on from my mobile device. Also, I'd like to be able to run my stream manager from mobile horizontally. Don't know why it's locked vertically.

Delete individual message option for Mods on Android app I mod for a couple bigger streamers and alot of time I am using my phone, confined to the Android Twitch App. Having an option to delete individual messages would be an extremely handy update for all mods who use mobile.

Increase Font Size Option I don't know if this is an oversight on Twitch's behalf, but you must realise that the text size on your apps is tiny. It's too small to be used comfortably by some users.
For many people either with bad eyesight or using their phones and tables to keep up with chat whilst streaming they have to put up with this tiny text that gets in the way of the enjoyment of streaming.
I, amongst others plead with you Twitch, please put larger font sizes in chat for those that need them. Be inclusive to those with less than perfect…

Twitch 5.0 enhancements to live streaming on iOS It seems that live streaming is limited to a maximum resolution of 432p. This is much less than competitors which allow streaming at 720p or 1080p. Also, the lack of URL overlay support for cheer/tip notifications, similar to those provided by other apps like IRLTV and Teradek Live Air Solo, prevent this from being a viable alternative for serious IRL streamers.
These features would help make live streaming more popular using the Twitch app and help enable a one-device solution:
- Manual selection of stream resolution (480p, 720p, 1080p)
- Either URL Overlay support or another notification avenue to notify the streamer…

Column Chat looks absolutely terrible, please revert to old version The new UI isn’t good at all! It has multiple issues like the fact that in landscape, there’s now bars on either side of the column chat view. When the Dynamic Island is on the right side, the video should stretch to the far left side of the phone and not be cut off with a grey bar that isn’t even completely black. The fact that there’s grey bars surrounding the column view looks terrible.
The old way of viewing this column view was fine, and these grey bars are very distracting5 votes -
Test and fix what you have before adding new “features” Please, stop messing with the UI and layout, and actually DO SOME TESTING instead of adding more “features”. If any of the mobile devs opened the app on their phones they would see multiple bugs, such as:
- Zooming switches chat layout
- Minimizing a stream causes the follow list to spaz out
- Multiple extensions that require an api connection do not load

WTF is the useless padding on iOS app? what is going on with the latest iOS update? In landscape fullscreen, the stream is forcefully shrunk just to leave space for the Home Bar at the bottom. Even when the Home Bar hides, that useless padding stays there and the video won't scale up. It ruins the whole fullscreen experience. Please fix this safe area bug and give us back our true full screen!
