1. Revert most recent update to mobile UI

Where to even begin with this god awful UI change…

No thumbnails/titles for followed channels, completely removing the ability for creators to describe what it is they are doing, now only having it show their view count and what game they are playing

Followed channels not being it’s own easily accessible tab that still allows you to actually watch content from followed channels (regardless of it not being the default anymore, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, all at least still have a place you can go to or method you can use to only see content from channels/accounts you are following/subscribed to)

No “continue watching” section for archived streams/VODs, you can now only find these by going to each individual channel, which itself is now also a more complicated and annoying process since there’s no way to sort followed channels and they no longer show indicators for unwatched VODs

No “clips” section where you can see recent clips from followed channels and choose which ones to watch, only a ridiculous scrolling feature that forces you to watch clips one by one and doesn’t even allow you to see ones specifically from channels you follow (which again, is the entire point of having a “following” page)

No “followed games” section to create a short list of games you’re interested in and see streams of specifically those games

Hilariously stupid integration of vertical video (70% blurred background every time you open the app to the main home screen) given that Twitch is a platform that almost exclusively operates on horizontal video

I’m sure there are more that I haven’t even realized yet but that’s honestly because I’ve been completely disincentivized from using the app at all with how many things I used regularly that are now an annoying hassle or have just been completely removed as a functionality of the app.

We get it. You want to be TikTok so bad. But even with that in mind this update is so poorly implemented that it detracts from and completely disrupts the user experience for all existing users while not properly accomplishing anything that would attract these new “TikTok-esque” users that are apparently so desirable that you’re willing to **** over everyone else to try and win them over.

Surely there is a better way to do this, one that accomplishes the goals of integrating vertical video and TikTok-style scrolling to attract new users that still allows existing users to enjoy the app in the way they would want to

4. Option to disable video previews in the "Following" list

Please add the option to disable the video previews in the list of followed channels (added in a recent update). This "feature" only impedes my ability to browse my LONG list of followed channels, making the process of seeing who is online much more difficult and time-consuming. To be clear, I want text only, the way the list used to be. Please.

Upon updating the app, my immediate reaction was "this is annoying, I hate it; where is the option to revert this change?" However, combing through the options for the app does not appear to offer this option. Why are we not able to customize the app for personalized user experience?

9. Revert the app update

It's so incredibly bad that I won't use it anymore. The follow list shows the game they're playing and nothing else. I can't easily see the screen they're on or even the title of the stream.

I'll just use Frosty from here on out if it's never reverted. This is the last thing I needed from Twitch. I'm not on it to scroll endlessly to find random accounts, I'm there to watch the people I've already found. They're who I care about and you've shoved them to the side.

Please admit you messed up and return to the old UI! Work on improving that, not copying TikTok. We are here to see who is live and to choose what we want to watch; NOT BE FORCE FED RANDOM STREAMS.

13. Revert back to the last format of Twitch.

This latest update to the Twitch app is horrible. How the **** do yall replace convenience with this garbage of an update? Random people I don’t care to watch in my feed. If I minimize the stream I’m watching to do something else I have to press play again because it pauses. Multiple streams play the sound over each other if you have one minimized and look through the feed. I’ve even been watching a stream and heard someone else’s voice, looked down at my phone and a totally different stream was playing for some reason. **** well wasn’t a raid because I went right back to who I was watching. Pretty sure y’all will see the majority will dislike this new twitch layout for mobile. Y’all keep trying to turn this into a reel app.

15. Go back to the previous mobile app

This update sucks. There is no list to see the games that I follow. Not all the streamers I follow play games I like. Sometimes I just like watching a random streamer playing a game I follow but you took away my list of games. Plus I don't want to see some stream that I'm not interested in. Roll the app back

16. The New Update Sucks

there are a too many problem added by this new update and a ton of Quality of life features were removed that completly ruin the twitch mobile experience.

the change i find the most bothersome is the removal of opening up the app to the followed streamer list so you can see what your followed streamers are doing. The removal of this feature frustrates users who use the app in their daliy life and are now subjected to seeing streams they dont follow and may not like to see when they open up the app.

18. Homepage Should Focus on the People We Follow!!!!

As the title says: with this new redesign, you have to click a little button on the top-left to see the people you follow? Your HOMEpage, should be the people you decided to bring into your "home", not some random people you don't know or want to watch. This is an awful change. Please go back our homepage focusing on the people we follow. Why not just give us the option to customize our homepage instead of shoving things down our throat?

20. Go Back.

Proving you're professional and care about your product will require you to swallow your pride and fix the mess you have just made by reverting to the previous version of the app.
This does not just look awful, it's unusable.
Where is the Continue watching tab? Why can't i just see a neat list of the streams of users i follow going on?
Why must it look like TikTok?

You should have put your resources in fixing the apps numerous bugs.
Instead you invested resources in making sure your app isn't used at all.
I won't use this app until you fix this.
