1. [iPad] Please Add Chat Overlay Mode to the iPad App

   On the iPhone version of the Twitch app, there is a Chat Overlay option that lets viewers watch streams in full-screen (landscape) mode while still seeing and sending chat messages, and earning channel points.

   On the iPad version, this option is missing. Right now, you can only:
   1. Hide the chat completely to go full-screen, or
   2. Use the side column view, which makes the video smaller.

   Please add the Chat Overlay mode to the iPad app as well.
   The iPad has a large screen, so having chat messages appear transparently over the video would be perfect for watching and chatting at the same time!

2. Please stop sending me “stream streak” push notifications

   Please stop sending me “stream streak” push notifications, a form of marketing. I have live notifications for specific channels and gift-sub notifications enabled, all others explicitly disabled. There is no category for this new form of notification either to enable or disable it. Therefore, this is a form of unsolicited marketing communication and may arguably even be illegal in some jurisdictions with no way to opt-out.

   Estaría muy bien que arreglaseis el xat de móvil, no funciona nunca, no carga y no puedo ver los mensajes de los demás, con el tiempo siempre acabo xateando yo solo sin ver que es lo que me responde el xat, a ver si lo podéis arreglar ya para la semana que viene, va fatal y debería ser vuestra primera prioridad ¿sabes lo peor de todo? Que este problema le pasa a todos los que usan Twitch desde iphone, el mío el 15 en específico, estaría bien arreglar el problema para los iphone users.

4. Accidentally unfollowing streamers should not remove your time following

   I accidentally unfollowed someone I guess when I fell asleep idk how but it removed the 4 years I had been following and I feel like it shouldn’t do that for these instances

9. New user chat blocked because of 2FA verification flaw

   The problem: If you want to comment/chat, you have to enable 2FA. There is a call and the autobot speak the number. But 2FA code invalid every time I fill in.

   Results: No 2FA = No comment/chat = New user will never have authority to chat = Twitch going down hill because they blocked new user and only keep old user whose will quit some day.

   Suggestions: Remove the phone number as a requirements to enable 2FA. It's mean you can enable 2FA without phone number. This will also benefits user's security because phone number is not secure at all, in my country phone number will invalid if user don't buy any data every 2 months and they will sell the phone number to others. And people just buy data just keep their 2FA alive is ridiculous, because nowadays everyone use online call and message so the chances they lose their phone number is really high. If they forget to buy data to extend their temporary ownership of their phone number, the company will retrieve that number, equal: they will lose accounts that use that number as a requirement for 2FA, and new buyer of that number will have ability to hack into the old owner's accounts simply because they purchase the number and become new ownership.

10. notifications not readable on chat while streaming with VoiceOver on iPhone

    when people follow my channel, it does not notify me, and it just says triple tap to show user actions on chat during a live stream. I would like to be able to read it as a normal chat when people follow me. This also includes when people subscribe, gift subs, and redeem my channel points. It always says triple tap to show user actions, but when I do that it does not work. I believe it should be properly labeled for voiceover users such as myself. as I take accessibility really seriously, and I love streaming on here. So it would be quite useful to be able to acknowledge my followers and subscribers for when they redeem my channel points and gift subs. 12. please have PiP work on ios26

    I always have to refresh the app to have pip working. anytime i go back into the app to use it pip stops working and im only given the mini player within the app, and the stream stops when i get off the app into my home screen. the one and dones are very annoying stop having us refresh the app to get pip back

    Stop sending “new drop detected!” When you’ve already done so and there is no new drop. 1. Its another notification 2. It wastes time. Thats my short story and simplified version, thanks.

14. Audio bug

    When I’m watching a stream and i leave the app’s pip miniplayer pops up, but if i click it to go back to the app the audio stops, the only way I’ve found to make it sound again is by going back to the followed streamers tab and clicking the stream I’m watching again. This has been happening recently and every time i click the button on the MiniPlayer to go back to the app.

17. THE SEARCH BAR IS A BAD USER EXPERIENCE

    The current search bar is barely functional for it’s intended purpose. At the moment, you need to type in what you are searching for VERBATIM otherwise nothing useful comes up. The autocomplete does not find what you are looking for once a single character is incorrect, not just letters. For example, some categories have dashes (“-“) or slashes (“/“) in their titles and typing without will yield quite impressively 0 relevant results. I feel like the system should be smart enough to know what I am looking for and when it’s is typed slightly incorrectly I expect to see it somewhere as a related search result.

    To add on to this, even when typing the search terms correctly, many of the results that do show up below my intended result are completely unrelated. This kills the search bar as a method of discovery, and requires us to know exactly what we are looking for.

18. Extra emote slots

    My idea is that there could be 10 emote slots (5 static and 5 animated) that can only be used by mods and vips.
    This will encourage people to stay in streams, become part of the communities.
    People love emotes and if they can get exclusives by getting to vip status they will love it

20. Modview bug

    Found an issue with the latest update of Twitch on iOS, only in mod view, when you go to type the entire viewer window minimizes and the chat shoots up to the top making it impossible to see chat and the whole screen is empty below it, also affects selecting emotes using : I have to scroll the page down to get chat back. Makes it frustrating to mod on mobile like this, previous versions did not act in this way. Also the pin and reply being stuck to the chat instead of press and hold, often accidentally gets pressed when selecting emotes.
