Why can't we stream from the app anymore? Can someone either explain or fix why we can't stream through the app from our phones anymore? I used to do a lot of mobile game content but now I can't stream from the Twitch app anymore nor any of the alternative platforms.

Higher Quality Streaming. My IPad M4 with WIFI 6E 2000 MBPS Upload and Download speed with a 2k display and 120hz refresh rate is limited to 720P at 30FPS broadcasting… wtf?
This looks like hot garbage. I can’t share this with friends!!

I finally thought, ok cool, I’ll become a mobile gamer twitcher for fun. Absolutely not. This is crazy how limiting Mobile gaming is when our devices are more than capable.

Fix channel points on mobile on pc When I’m on mobile and use a channel point once, it goes to out of stock because the streamer has a timer (10mins in this case) , but on mobile once the 10 mins is over it still says the channel points reward is out of stock, whereas on PC, it’s usable again and not out of stock

Widget doesn’t work on iOS 26 when clear icons are enabled. The Twitch widget stops working when clear or tinted icons are enabled. Thumbnails are blank.

Latest versions of mobile app break Chromecast. When casting from mobile to Chromecast on latest mobile app versions, the quality reverts to low within minutes. It can't be changed back without restarting, and just goes back to low quality in minutes. It is the latest changes you have made. I have an old device still on version 26.3.0, and it works perfectly. Later versions default to auto quality that downgrades the stream for no reason. Please fix it!

Xbox With my Xbox I have hardly any flexibility with streaming, I have to use my phone for seeing chat and it’s not ideal, also I would like to be able to have more stream options for example on PC you can have a starting screen, a pause screen and an end screen but you can’t on Xbox and considering I am a regular streamer it would help a lot so please if you can it would help so much if you could make the Xbox functions the same as PC even if it has to be changed by a laptop…

Video gets cropped in full screen Regardless of the stream when watching in full screen mode, the video gets cropped both top and bottom.

Fold phone I've been watching twitch on a zfold for a few years and I like watching on the phone is fully open. However, there are times I would like to use the phone half folded and the experience sucks. The steam is shifted left and chat is on the right. The stream looks odd. Can we do something like YouTube where the stream plays on top half and chat is on the bottom half

Stop forcing me back to the top of every list when backing out of a stream Stop auto refreshing and forcing me back to the top of that list every time I back out of a stream.
It is so frustrating that every time you back out of a stream (whether in following or browsing any category) it forces a refresh and puts you back to the top of the list. Whenever I’m looking for a stream to watch, it takes so much time and almost punishes you for wanting to switch to another. Also this really inhibits the ability to find new streams (especially non-popular streams)
The refresh is fine, but don’t make us restart…

Ad subtitles The ad subtitles stay on my screen after the ad ends and I have no way of deleting them. Also the ad subtitles aren’t even in my language.

Bug with video going small The video on certain channels will go small. Switch to other channels and they might be fine. It’s been doing it for over a month on my iPad, started today on my iPhone as well. Sometimes turning chat off will stop it, others times it does not. 13.9 iPad and the video size is about 2.5”.

Fix the live view counter on IOS Mobile The view counter on the IOS Mobile App for twitch has been broken for about 3 months now after some update. It will no long update in real time and remains frozen at whatever the counter was when you opened the stream.
e.g If you open a stream at 15 viewers it will say 15 viewers the entire time you watch regardless of raids etc or hours passed.
The only way to update the number and see the real viewcount is by closing the stream on your phone refreshing the streamers page and opening the stream again.

Hasan Piker has breached TOS multiple times and not banned, including shocking his dog live on stream. Please UpVote if you’re upset too. Twitch’s selective use of their TOS is unacceptable, and I don’t think I’m alone or even the minority. Please UpVote if you too believe this is unacceptable and needs to be dealt with.
