Add a Category for each popular Game Engine (Unity, Unreal Engine, GameMaker Studio, Godot) Video game engines are software just like games that have their own category. By browsing a category of a given engine like Unity or UE, game devs can share their practical knowledge on the platform. In general, it would be easier to find other streams that are using similar workflows. By specifying the engine used in the category field where usually the game title goes, it would reduce the chance that the game development and game jam tags are misused for random gameplay streams.

Magician There are magicians who stream magic tricks on Twitch, and unfortunately use a "magician" tag that is affiliated with a video game. It would be lovely to have a Magician category for those who do magic tricks.

Adding a "Shibari" Category for Safe, Educational Purposes Shibari is an art form and if given the ability to educate and teach others safely, I believe a lot of viewers would enjoy learning about its therapeutic nature and artistic beauty.

A "Netflix And Chill" or "video streaming" category Ok so my idea is that twitch should make a contract of some sort with netflix or some others streaming sites like maybe ADN or crunchyroll and make a category with them like in my title "Netflix And Chill" so known streamers or begining streamers could watch a serie with him. Designated category for Creative Writing and related content Ranging from writing and discussing novels, to poetry, scripts, comics, article editing, tabletop campaign planning, world creation, etc. There are a wide array of people doing various forms of creative writing on twitch, (Counted 53 channels so far, still working on finding more) and often it's hard to decide between "Creative" "Art" or "Just Chatting". Currently all we have to search for similar content is the "Writing" tag, which some of the broader definitions are hesitant to use, and is also used by people writing computer code, which is honestly a very different type of content despite it's visual similarities.

Merge the Spellforce 3 Categories The newest expansion of Spellforce 3 just came out, and now there are 3 categories! People are using both the base game category and the new category to stream the new content, which is confusing and bad for streamer discoverability.
These 3 categories should be merged, particularly seeing as the game has crossplay capabilities between the different expansions in multiplayer.

Remove/Merge "Remastered/Definitive Edition/Special Edition/HD Edition" categories Simply put these remasters, definitive editions, collections, re-releases are the same games. It has became a chore to navigate through the categories to find new content when the games are split up into two, or in some cases even more unnecessary listings.

Re-add a Category for "Super Monkey Ball" The Super Monkey Ball category was removed from Twitch after the platform's switch from Giant Bomb to IGDB. As IGDB classes it as a sub game of the original Monkey Ball (and the Admins being unwilling to change this) Super Monkey Ball has been removed from the Twitch game directory. As a result, streamers playing the previously popular game are now using categories with far less visibility (Monkey Ball/Games + Demos) or flat out wrong categories (such as Super Monkey Ball 2). Stop allowing streamers to tag MSFS when flying P3D, XP, or DCS. When streamers improperly tag MSFS but stream these lower quality sims it deters potential new users of MSFS because they associate the poor quality of those older sims with the new sim.
This also puts streamers who are exclusively streaming MSFS at a severe disadvantage for growth when streamers take advantage of tagging MSFS just for the views.
This practice of tagging MSFS and then streaming P3D, XP, FSX, or DCS is also against Twitch's TOS and needs to be addressed.

Roleplaying Games Add "Roleplaying Games" as a blanket game that can be streamed to cover all the non-D&D games or ones played that are not using Roll 20. "Board Games" and "Card Games" is available. Tabletop RPG's should be among them!

Create Categories for Different Art Programs It's not fair that streamers in the art streamers don't have the option to stream under "ZBrush" or "Photoshop" as a category when there are categories for every video game. Please consider this as an opportunity to grow interest in the platform by supporting these niche communities of artists using different mediums.

Just Dance 2023 & 2024 (and beyond) being named to "Just Dance" Upon the Launch of Just Dance 2023 Edition, they switched to a new engine and that is officially the main Just Dance. If you look at the title screen, the game is just called "Just Dance". 2023 & 2024 are "Song Packs" for the base game. Since they drop song packs every year now, it keeps splitting the viewerbase more and more due to it being marked as separate games.
