Bring back ability to follow channels by clicking on their name in chat In the past there was a follow button that would appear whenever you clicked someone's name in chat. Since its removal it's been rather difficult to discover new people, especially when they are part of a community that you often interact with.

See all commands with ! When you write "@" or "/" you can see all users or moderator commands, and I think it would be cool to just type ! and see all the commands you can do.
Like !time or !discord...I didn't see somebody put this idea, if it was, I'm sorry !

Add "are you sure" for the Moderator's Clear Chat link Add an "are you sure" pop-up acknowledgement for the Moderator's Clear Chat link in the Chat Settings, to cover inadvertent selection of the link. I have on occasion hit the "Clear Chat" link when I was aiming for "Manage Moderation Settings" or "Switch to Non-Mod Settings", which annoys everyone in chat and the Streamer as well.

Changeable chat background colour. It would be nice to be able to change the background colour to something more customisable but also so streamers who have difficulty reading chat with only white or black background. It takes those people longer to read and react to chat.

Could you implement a way to highlight a certain word or another users chat? Suggestion:
Add a way for a user to highlight specific words or users in chat.Reason:
I find myself trying to read certain users comments/topics, but they often get lost in the general chat stream. This often happens when the channel has a moderator running the chat portion of the stream while the person on camera is talking. The ability to highlight a user or a certain word would help locate them in a busy chat situation. Thanks

@mention another user in chat Can you please add a feature to quickly mention a user in chat?
For now the only option is to type out "@" and their nickname which is
1) slow;
2) inconvenient when chatting in another keyboard layout as you need to switch it twice just to mention someone.
It seems like an obvious feature and adding it would improve chatting experience a lot.3 votes -
Replace followers only mode with account age mode Followers only mode set for anything above thirty mins completely just kills people's channels. Replace it with how old their account is instead

mini games in chat ive been watching streams for a little while now and it seems there are a few disagreements within chat, so my suggestion is simple what about an option to invite someone to a mini game of something simple like atari tennis or similar and settle this on the playing field instead of being toxic in a streamers chat, it could just be fun with no ranking or anything just old fashioned best of three with the ability to say i won neeer neer. just a thought i think it could be a fun idea and perhaps get people together aswell…

Bitmoji in chat Imagine people with their own emoji of themself interacting in the chat, I don't know if that is possible but it should be like linking your bitmoji account to your twitch account and activating it in your twitch control panel in order to be used in chat

Split chat into 2 boxes. Add intelligence to detect and split Spam messages and real messages into two boxes for high velocity chat streams. Problem: When people have something valuable and meaningful to say, their message flies off the screen and into the void.

Create a chat command inverse to the current "emoteonly" chat command If enabled, this command would prohibit the use of any emote within a stream's chat.
A need for such a command becomes apparent in large streams such as this year's SGDQ, but can also be extremely useful site-wide, for any stream that might want to enable such an option. Using such a command in combination with the "R9KBeta" command, especially in larger stream chats, could help create a much more substantial and positive chat experience for all users involved.
An example syntax for this command could be as simple as:
/textonly
/textonlyoffThis would be beneficial not only for large…

Sound! Hello, sometimes I tend to chat with people therefore I completely miss out on what's actually happening with the game that the person is playing. On the other hand - sometimes I tend to watch broadcaster(s) in full screen and therefore if someone wanted to talk to me or just say something quickly - I would never know because I wouldn't be paying attention to chat. I can see that you guys are trying to keep things nice and simple here on Twitch and I appreciate it, you've already implemented "Whisper" feature - it's okay I guess, but what we…

Disable "save streak" notification for users that you have blocked when blocking a user you have previously watched before blocking, you still receive a prompt to "save your streak" on the For You tab. I think it is safe to assume that when a user blocks someone they do not wish to view their content either.
Some users might be tempted to not use twitch desktop at all until the 24 hour period is over just to not see the profile picture of the blocked user.

Stop Websites From Saving Our Chats Twitch needs to change its chat system so third-party websites can't pull up our personal chat history. Right now, anyone can search your username on random tracking sites and see everything you've ever typed, which completely ruins our privacy. Locking our chats to our official accounts and blocking outside sites from grabbing the data will fix this issue. Please upvote this to help us get our privacy back and protect our accounts!

Add Off-Screen Chat – messages show in chat but not on stream overlay Please add a simple way for viewers to send messages that appear normally in Twitch chat (for everyone) but do not show up on the streamer’s on-screen chat overlay. A small toggle or button next to the chat box labeled “Off-Screen” would work well. When turned on, messages stay fully visible to other viewers and mods in the regular chat, but overlays (StreamElements, Streamlabs, OBS chat sources, etc.) simply ignore them.
