Client-side timestamps and message cooldown timer seem highly exploitable. So, I was chatting and I noticed my timestamps were 7 minutes ahead of everyone else's. I re-synced my system clock via NTP...but then I wasn't able to chat for ~7 minutes because my previous message was sent from what my computer considered seven minutes IN THE FUTURE, triggering the flood protection message cooldown.
I imagine it works in the other direction as well, in which case there's no way this isn't somehow exploitable.
What other time-based protection is handled client-side in defiance of all reason? The timer to be let into follower-only chat after following? Moderation timeouts? I can't…

Problema con los susurros Hoy me desperté queriendo mandar un susurro (a alguien con quien ya estaba conversando anteriormente) Y no me deja, me dice "Tu susurro no se ha entregado" y así pasa con todas las personas. Llevo todo el día intentando solucionar eso, hasta mande un ticket a soporte, pero no dan solución. Leí que a algunos le pasó, pero nadie da una solución... º-º

Puedes chatear en 1 s 1 d Hola.
A la hora de querer participar en el chat de un streamer (chat modo lento), me deja solo enviar un solo comentario y después twitch o algo me bloquea o banea y no puedo comentar mas... me sale el mensaje de "Puedes chatear en 1 s 1 d" no se si es un bug, o el tiempo de espera para volver a mandar otro mensaje es ridiculo... Chat aktualisiert nicht Im Moment hab ich das Problem das keiner der Twitchchats nach einer bestimmten Zeit automatisch aktualisiert, als Streamer/Mod muss man dieses manuell refreshen. Egal ob auf der PS4x, übers IPhone oder übers IPad. Mehrere Anfragen des Supportes waren vergebens. Wann genau wird dieses Problem gefixt?

Emotes in chatbox update causing issues Recently when emotes are typed into the chatbox, they'll show as actual images in the chatbox rather than as text only like they used to. However this seems to cause serious lag issues and, after a while, slows the response speed for typing to the point where the whole page or chat pop-out has to be refreshed.
It reacts poorly with third party extensions like bttv/ffz that use autocomplete using the tab button, by prioritising twitch global emotes over channel and bttv emotes, or by deleting half the message text and trying to autocomplete from a random word mid sentence.

Large sudden viewer drops all at once We are getting extremely close to being able to apply for partner and this issue is severely impacting our average viewer counts. We will be streaming just fine and then all of the sudden we will drop 30 viewers all at one time. None of these viewers have actually left our stream but it does change our viewer count and thus impacts our average. Sometimes it recovers quickly and the number jumps right back up to what it was before. But then sometimes, like today, we will drop from 87 viewers to 57 to 47, and never really recover. When…

Fix the constant disconnecting of chat. Getting a constant "Welcome to the chat room" message and not being able to interact with my chat as well as any other streamers is getting old. This issue has been around for 7 years at the least. It should be fixed by now

/poll isn't working in chat The /poll action isn't working for me on desktop or mobile. I've tried different browsers too. Not sure if it was happening to anyone else or just me. The button to open to interface shows when I type /poll but it doesn't open anything. /prediction works and all that but just not poll. I'm just a mod at the moment so I can't access the full dashboard to do it that way.

Your whisper was not delivered. Using Chrome on two devices in the same room, with more than one Twitch tab open on each device (Settings, my own offline channel and its chat, a channel I'm watching, the Live Channels You Follow page), sometimes whispers begin to vanish with "Your whisper was not delivered." This goes away if I close some of the tabs. But having multiple tabs open is standard Twitch life.
Also, sometimes I am whispering to a mod something critical and time-sensitive, and detailed, and then the dreaded not delivered message comes. The worst part? The message has vanished and I have to…

As mensagens do chat só aparecem pra mim Depois de raids eu vou para o chat de outra live, até aí tudo bem. Mas então quando falo no chat, a minha mensagem só aparece para mim, não aparece pro streamer e nem pros viewers dele. Se puderem fazer alguma coisa sobre isso, eu agradeço.

chat identity In the 'Chat Identity' menu, under the channel identity category where it shows your sub badge, the correct badge is displayed (12 months in my case) but the text says 'Subscribed for 6 months' (which is my sub streak for that channel). This doesn't sound right, as the text is probably meant to descibe how the user earned that bade (by being subbed for 12 months) and not what their current streak is

Fast forwarding of video should show chat history accordingly If we fast forward the video then chat history should be retained i.e. from beginning of the video till the forwarded time.

Chat input box showing scroll buttons Since a few days, I noticed my chat input box has additional scroll buttons that overlays the emoticon button. I have uploaded a small screenshot at https://imgur.com/a/GmtufMp. This only seems to show when my zoom level in chrome is 100% or lower. When zooming at 110% or above the buttons disappear.

Automated IRC messages only updating on page load I’ve begun building an interactive intermission application for use on Twitch. Yesterday, the application was working fine.
Today I woke up and chat messages sent via IRC are not visible to users in real time.
Any messages sent by my application show up as past messages when a new user enters the chat, but no messages sent will appear in real time – they only update if the user re-enters the chat by reloading or opening the chat in a new window.

The removed message is still (partially) visible in the reply, in the "replying to" headerThis may not be the desired behavior. The reply should not (partially) show the deleted message but rather "replying to a deleted message" or similar.

Chat is not reconnected When the connection is lost for a considerable time, when reconnecting, a button can be pressed to reload the transmission but the chat keep frozen. The quick solution is to close the chat and open it after a few seconds, but it would be good if the reconnection is detected and the chat reconnects automatically as when the connection is lost for a few seconds.

link parsing The automatic link parser is rather overzealous. It currently interprets any sequence of alphanumeric characters, a dot/period, and more alphanumeric characters (with no spaces in between) as a link. As a result, any time someone forgets to put a space between two sentences, or deliberately types something like "notbad.jpg", it gets turned into a (broken) link. Furthermore, if the streamer has link filtering turned on, such occurrences will result in the entire message being blocked when there's no actual reason for it to be.
The link parser needs to be smarter. Maybe make it require either two dots/periods with characters…
