We announced today on Patch Notes that we will be giving all streamers access to Channel Points. We will begin rolling out in the US on 7/28 and expand globally over the course of this year.

Hey!
I can confirm this is definitely in the works. When we switched to Twitch logins after the acquisition we had to terminate our own user upload feature for safety and privacy reasons. The current plan is to add the ability to sync your IGDB profile Avatar & Banners with your Twitch profile, so it would be one seamless account across both.
Adding extra to the profile itself is something we very much would like to do, some work has even already put into this. Unfortunately however this isn’t currently on our roadmap and priority list for the short term. But soon!
Thanks!

Heya!
There’s absolutely a need for multiple covers as a data point, we hear you :) Let’s clarify what this could mean in the near future:
One thing that we are currently looking at is expanding data for Localization, and covers are an obvious fit for this. However it’s worth pointing that Localized cover and additional cover might not mean the same thing. For example offering the Japanese specific cover doesn’t mean having multiple variant for it (different artworks, logo style, dimensions etc..).
We will start with Localization, which will help provide API users more options for their own communities. And as a second step from there we would begin looking at how to offer multiple variant of a single regional cover so that users may pick & choose.
Hope this helps!

i would like to add to this When I report someone, I’m doing it because I care about the safety of the community — not to start drama, but to make sure our spaces stay welcoming. The problem is, after I send a report, it feels like it disappears into a void. I don’t know if it was reviewed, if action was taken, or if it’s still sitting in a queue somewhere.
Other platforms like Xbox and Steam have found a good middle ground — they send a short, neutral message like “We reviewed your report and took action” or “We reviewed your report but no action was needed.” It doesn’t reveal private details, but it reassures the person who spoke up that their voice was heard.
That little bit of feedback makes a huge difference. It builds trust, encourages people to keep reporting when something’s wrong, and shows that Twitch values the effort it takes to speak up.
I think adding something like this would make the community feel safer and more connected — and it would help people like me feel that our reports matter.

Just wanted to update this thread that we are doing an experiment right now with Stream Display Ads!
These are less disruptive ads that allow viewers to see and hear Creators while being displayed. Creators will receive ad revenue for each SDA shown.

Hi, thanks for flagging this and sharing your suggestion.
We share and understand your concerns about how the intentional, repeated misuse of tags can undermine the purpose of the tags product itself. Tags are an important discoverability feature for communities, and a powerful way for all Creators—but especially those that are underrepresented—to express their personal identity and creative vision for their content.
We also do not feel Twitch should be the judge of Creators’ personal or creative identity, so we typically only enforce against the misuse of tags when it is associated with other behavior that violates our Community Guidelines such as hateful conduct or harassment.
That said, as the VTuber community’s experience demonstrates, there are limitations to this approach and we are actively investigating additional steps we can take to protect and improve the integrity of the tags feature at scale, without infringing on good faith Creators’ personal choice…

i agree with you on that i'm vulnerable to gambling because i have autism i think they should allow users to block ads they don't want to see like a simple toggle in settings like fast food gambling alcohol and other ads that can be harmful to users like i have mentioned this deserves waymore votes than it currently has.
