How to hold Moderators accountable? I am a new user and read the rules for chatting on the Main Twitch Channel. I was watching HCS today and did not break any of the rules. The moderators timed me out and then for 30 minutes for expressing that they timed me out for no reason. This is unacceptable. You must allow abusive moderators to be held accountable. We must be able to submit reports or defenses for abusive moderators.

Viewerlist only visible for the Streamer / Mods I would like viewers to no longer have access to the viewer list. The reason for this is that viewers of a channel can be poached/influenced by other streamers' accounts if this information is publicly available. Only the streamer and his moderators should have access to the list.

Giving more credits to moderators Give moderators more credit for the daily dedication.
Make sure that we can report certain viewers more easily (without abusing either), have a platform or a common chat (discord...) where we can communicate more easily and be in contact.
Having the possibility to provide faster feedbacks to Twitch on possible bugs and issues...2 votes -
Require streamers to make a list of clear and consise rules that moderators must follow I think that streamers must make rules about what is and what isn’t allowed. This stems from a strange experience I had with a small streamer.
Before I start, let me just clarify that I am not asking for an unmute or anything. Basically I decided to watch a small streamer’s stream cause why not and then after a few minutes someone said something (I forgot what it was, but it was 100% relevant and nothing bad) and I said “I guess” and “no completions today tho”. A few minutes later I was suddenly muted. Since it was a small…

Why/How are user comments like "*****" and "Filthy *****" not a violation of TOS ? I noticed my report user flagging is being consistently turned down lately.
But when a user in chat calls the streamer '**' and 'filthy **' in German I fail to understand why that that doesn't constitute a violation of TOS.For reference I'm commenting on this report to Twitch (but also several before in the last months) :
"Report ID: 115854159You have submitted a safety report that is covered under the Digital Services Act (DSA) of the EU. We have reviewed the content against our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and/or local law, and determined that no…

Non-Mod Chat Delay not working when logged in When I set the "Non-Mod Chat Delay" in the chat setting to 6 seconds I get just the delay when people are watching it without an account. If a viewer is logged in to a Twitch account it doesn't show any delay. I feel this shouldn't be like that.

restore Polish twitch support There are several compelling reasons why Twitch should reinstate Polish-language customer support:
Language Accessibility: Providing support in a user's native language greatly enhances their experience. Many Polish users may not be fluent in English, and having support in their native language ensures clearer communication and problem resolution.
Cultural Understanding: Localized support teams understand cultural nuances and regional trends, leading to more empathetic and relevant responses. This helps Twitch build a stronger community among Polish users.
Growing Polish User Base: Poland has a significant and growing number of Twitch users and streamers. Offering support in Polish is a reflection of Twitch's…2 votes -

Moderate the streams listed at the top of the twitch home page I decided to load up twitch to find something/someone to watch. Upon loading the Twitch.tv homepage I'm blasted with a stream at the top where you essentially get the stream play without loading into that person specifically. Anyway the point is that this specific person is just continuously non stop swearing with constant F*, C* and all sorts before going on to rip into disabled people. Luckily I didn't have it loaded on the television with any kids in the room. I don't blame the streamer for their content more so twitch for putting this sort of content…

mod protection we need mod protection from the streamer before twitch takes action. false reporting to twitch is a big issue and viewers and bots alike dont like when a mod does something so they report them direct to twitch.... that should be screened by the streamer before twitch and make it up to the streamer to forward the report to twitch

Block list for usernames based on words and phrases Streamers currently have a block list so we can prevent usage of certain words or phrases being used in chat.
We would like to have a similar block list but for usernames, so if someone has created a username that contains a word or phrase that's restricted in our channel, AUTOMOD would prevent them from interacting with chat and give moderators an alert so they can review if the username truly contains a restricted word or not and choose to allow the user to interact with chat.
If the user attempts to follow the channel it would detect the restricted…

Txt file for list for shield mode It would be nice to have the possibility to create a Txt file or something to add all the terms you regulary want to ban instead of cleaning the list each time you deactivate the shield mode, this way you can add multiple terms in one click instead of adding one by time
